Le Pen and all elected members of the French parliament should press the PM (who is in the same party as Macron) for a free emergency open vote, also delaying summer recess until positions are clear.
Those of us who are now quite senior will recall how DeGaulle was obliged to stand down in a time of conflict. If the PM fails a vote of confidence there has to be an election and 'En Marche' would lose member even before an emergency debate or referendum. In that situation the defeated PM would advise the president to resign ahead of his term's temporal conclusion.
At present there is little evidence democracy working in France.
As for the UK backing this or that Macron and partners plan, our PM Sunak has declared an election on July 4th and several of his ministers, including Cameron [not an MP so he no constituency] and Shapps, who faces business-related charges outside parliamentary protection, could face separate no confidence votes within days.
The UK government is not viable at this critically dangerous time and would best protect the British people by ceasing all arms transportation to anywhere immediately. Resumption could occur after the election (which are quick in the UK) and the Sunak cabinet members should recuse from all scheduled talks about Ukraine, including the farcical ones in Switzerland.
To correct your narrative, the Ukraine president will not be visiting Paris. Mr Zelenskyy might be but because he has all but torn up the Rep of Ukraine constitution, surely he is not president nor even a Rada Deputy because of constitutional collapse.

Ukraine do not need new trainers, they were trained months ago abroad. Macron at the beginning he said he will send soldiers to fight Russia. When russia treatened with Nuclear weapons, Macron made a u-turn and said that he will send trainers to Ukraine.
