That’s what dirty heads do to ya! Thankfully they have an abundance of soul soothing sounds for you to feed the obsession. I found them during lockdowns and first chance at freedom i flew from mn-st Petersburg Florida drove to Orlando and took a nap in a tent to see my first dirty heads show ❤🤩

Like many here I came across the Dirty Heads about ten years ago with the Any Port in the Storm album. I became obsessed also. And I’m an old dude about to turn 65. I love music and I’ve had 1000+ albums and 1000+ CDs and 1000+ downloads. It takes a lot for me to go back to one particular group. The Dirty Heads is one of those groups. They blend a lot of styles into their version of Cali Rock or Reggae and it all works. They always surprise me with new riffs or harmonies. Would love to see them live. They are in Morrison Colorado on July 1 which is closest to me but darn it I don’t retire till 7/26. Beginning of the month is busy…one day…love these guys! Come to El Paso! Puh-lease!

I used to be a huge KMK fan, tatted up and everything but the drama that band went through seemed to have a HUGE effect on the quality of their music. I feel like these guys slid right into that void...they're so dope whereas KMK is about done. RIP Pakelika!

Interesting, never really compared KMK and DH together but with these last couple DH records they do parallel each other. Never been a huge KMK fan but they definitely can, or could, throw down. Was probably 15 years ago saw em and was an awesome show. They were pretty damn loyal to Omaha NE, they were coming once and sometimes twice a year for 5 years solid I'd say, a pretty good following here. But yeah not a huge follower myself so haven't kept up with the drama or anything else, but that truly sucks to hear. Put it Down w/Cypress Hill and Tangerine Sky are by far my favorite joints from those guys.
