Really your videos are informative especially for someone like me who is very new in doing qualitative analysis. Your videos helped to do coding without any external help. After coding, I realised that I did a amazing job. Thanks to you. ❤👌🙏

I have also ordered your Step by step guide via Amazon
Thank you @VijayKumar-dz5sp for ordering my book! I really appreciate it!!
This is extremely helpful! Thank you so much. I have 3 research questions with a total of 29 themes for my master's dissertation. What would you recommend for me in terms of presenting the findings as there are so many themes?
You're welcome!! It looks like you have a lot of themes. I suggest you consider categorizing them further to have about 5 themes for each of the research questions. This video would help you to further sort the themes to generate 'overarching themes': th-cam.com/video/mrioduYXWE4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=AhBfdZxTCBLh875t&t=67

@@drphilipadu What a champion! Thank you very much!
@@camilleloevgreen683You're welcome!
Thank you for the video.... Valuable information there.... How does one present the subthemes coming from the major theme??
You're welcome! One way is to focus on presenting the main themes and mentioning the subs themes as you explain the uniqueness of each theme.
Many thanks to you Dr. Phillip for the good job you are doing. I find your contents highly insightful and helpful.
However, my question is: "How do you present the findings from the data collected using two different data collected methods, namely; focused group discussion and interviews in a qualitative study? Is it proper to generate themes from the two separately and interpret/discuss the findings separately?
You're welcome!! Based on best practices, we normally follow the act of triangulation (see: th-cam.com/video/bmldtV4n5Pk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=t7GOa5i97_PxEfj6) where we explore a phenomenon using more than one data collection strategy or data source. With this in mind, I suggest you generate codes and themes representing both sets of data. We normally don't separate them, especially, if they are all addressing the same research questions.
@@drphilipadu Does it require that one must strictly maintain the same themes in the two instances?
Kindly make a video to demonstrate how to achieve this result.
Thank you in anticipation...
What a very brilliant presentation! I must confess your videos are amazing, very clear and easy to understand. The good Lord will continue to bless you with wisdom. I have some questions: 1. If the aim of my research is to use qualitative analysis to back up or support my quantitative analysis, do I need to formulate separate research questions for the qualitative aspect or adopt those used for the quantitative aspect of the work? 2. How would I present the findings of three methods under different research questions in qualitative analysis. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words and blessings. We normally use qualitative data to address a qualitative research question which should be an open-ended question in nature. Due to this, it is recommended to have a qualitative research question although, you plan to use the findings to support the quantitative findings.
For your 2nd question, your goal is to analyze all qualitative data from different methods and extract relevant excerpts (irrespective of the data source) to help you all the research questions. You can present the themes arranging them based on their respective research questions they are addressing.
I hope this helps! I provide methodology consultation, if you are interested, you can email me: info@drphilipadu..com
Great! Please what about writing the discussion section

Many thanks to Dr. Philip Adu, i learnt a lot from it. Could you send us the model or format of how to present findings
Could the model or format be in dissertation of MSc rather than in journal?

Hello Phillips,
I cant explain how you safe me.
I have two questions
1_How I add quets (evidance from Nvivo to my dissertation document?
2_How i get this summary table from Nvivo?
Great! You can double-click on the themes or codes to see the quotations. Also, you can create framework matrix.
Any link of your lecture ... How to make themes after creating codes .

@@drphilipadu yeah thanks ... Have watched this video clip ... So nice ov you
What if we have 2 RQ and separate themes for RQ1 and RQ2? Let's say we have 4 themes for RQ1 and 4 themes for RQ2, do we need to mention that we have 8 themes in this study?
Yes, I suggest you mention all the themes for both questions.
could not this Dedoose is free?
You can use it for free for a month.
