I was doing a bit of sneaky trail work up there the other day, think I seen you guys go through. Thanks for not giving away the location. Other TH-camrs can’t help themselves. Trails were running mint last few weeks, just had a lot of rain, so another day or two if it drys out will be awesome. You were quick over Triple Treat. I’m always a bit more cautious!😂
You’ve got me browsing lightweight ebikes with all these videos haha. I dont think I could buy one though, feel like it’d be too slippery a slope and I’d end up never riding my analogue again 😅
Mate I got an e-bike; after a few months I got bored of it and bought an analogue short travel and I ride them on about a 2:1/3:1 ratio. Depends on where you live though but don't rule it out. Both have a place but nothing beats a good 1.5hr ride on an analogue that's fast and poppy!
@@MTBMcPhee Yes! but the new stuff is enticing. Looking at the SC Vala or the Trek slash+. Would be great if bike shops still did demos, they don't seem to as much anymore.
I get the idea of an e bike but in same way I feel like they defeat the purpose of the ride. The climb up makes the downhill more rewarding in my opinion.
Yeah there's nothing like a big day under your own steam. Personally though, I find it extremely unpleasant riding analog bikes in the humidity of summer here in Sydney, which is why I've been exploring ebikes as the warm weather approaches.
