What's great about this pack is that, even if it's vintage, it perfectly works inside a modern city theme. Especially because cities have some history and keep some of their old elements, and having vintage inside a modern city is kind of nice and gives identity. I'm using this to make an attraction with the Test Flight and I put toilets and information stand made with the vintage pack, and I'm currently working on covering my waiting line with a big roof with pillars. Right next to the attraction is a huge city containing a Go kart ride, and it doesn't look off, they both go perfectly well together.
Yeah, someone on the staff of this game is from Pennsylvania. This entire DLC feels like a love letter to the historical Pennsylvania amusement parks. There are a few pieces of scenery lifted directly from Dorney Park, Hersheypark, and Kennywood, not to mention the aforementioned Flying Turns style coaster from Knoebels (which they absolutely nailed, FWIW. My jaw dropped when I saw the seat view of the ride, it's a perfect representation). As someone from the state who has been to all those parks, this warms my heart and may make me finally open my wallet for this game.
Yeah, I can see the Luna Park inspiration there... there was actually a Luna Park section of Kennywood that used (and in some cases, still uses) that style, and the clown with the waving hands entrance reminds me a ton of the old Alfundo mascot of the pre-Cedar Fair Dorney Park.
I loved the _Round-Up_ as a child going to Conneaut Lake Park PA. They took the _Scrambler_ and put in in the old Fun House building with flat black walls and neon paint, black lights and rock music and called it _"The Ultimate Trip"_
Those bobsled coasters... None of the originals exist, last one closed in the 70's which is why there is sadly no footage aside from what this TH-camr (Swampfoxer) has. They were supposed to be hyper intense, and Knoebels being faithful to the original specs spent ten years trying to get the car on their modern reproduction accurate. If you wanna know how it rides head down to Knoebels in Elysburg, Pennsylvania... It isn't the original but its all we got. Also I do not recognize that rolling airplane flat ride. I think they made that up for the DLC.

It's a start. But when I think vintage I think Whip, Tumblebug, Caterpillar and Paratrooper. The wooden coaster could be themed to a scenic railway with that track. Also Loop o plane is the small one and Rock O plane is the zippers cousin
About the bob. It only banks after 20 degrees turning left or right. I got it to do a loop and a corckscrew. After the max banking of 85 degrees, when you make that piece streight, and tge next piece the strongest curve. It will show you that it sticks to the side while turning that side itself so it should fall off. But it doesnt, lets hope they dont fix it.
great video as always. the bobsled coasters are one of the older coasters (first one from 1929). the old restrain style a.k.a no restraints is also part of the time before health and safety laws made it mandatory to have restraints. (at-least in Europe).
Omg, when you said “pls don’t spit.” That reminded me of when I went to Coney Island in Cincinnati yesterday and in the line for the roller coaster, there were two boys in front of me, that just kept spitting every 4 seconds, it was so annoying.
"Round the World" really made me happy. Here's why... they used to be known as the Rock-o-Plane when they were operating. They actually had two bars in the carriages. One was a restraint. The second was a bar you would pull if you wanted to flip. There were disappearing from the carnival circuit about the time I got into thrill rides. To this day, my dad and I both ride any that we find still operating, because they are rare and they were one of his favorites as a kid.
I rode that "egg" ride as a teen at Geauga Lake Park OH. This ride has a hand brake bar in front of you and when you pull it towards you it locks in the car from rotating so you can make the car slowly go upside-down.
It's not a bobsleigh coaster, but a flying turns type coaster, which is made of wood unlike a bobsleigh coaster. Looks similar, but they are different. Knoebles in Pennsylvania has a flying turns.
On the Bob sled ride. I'm 45 and I rode one at Dollywood in Tennessee when I was about 12 maybe. I don't know if they still have it. It sounds like a Jet flying and you can hear it from the parking lot.
So now with the bobsled coaster people can make recreations of the Cedar Point OH _Avalanche Run_ which was later converted to be _Disaster Transport_ and is now demolished.

On 3:25 why isn't there a comment about the hurricane being one of THE best 'exciting' ride in EVERY roller coaster: tycoon ? I Mean, this is one of the most iconic ones.
You could have a Carnival/Circus comes to town competition. You can also find many of these vintage rides on Piers. So maybe you could have a; create a sea side Pier competition.
Well, they call these rides vintage but there the kinda rides I rode and loved as kid, guess I'm vintage too lol 😂 Edit: the clowns are a bit creepy looking and not a big fan of the Arabian style buildings/ roofs but love everything else.

Some elements are inspired by Luna Parks, there's a clown arch which looks just like Sidney's Luna Park entrance, and it's not Pennsylvania ^^

Look for an onride video of De Bob from the Dutch park De Efteling. Thats a nice bobsled coaster.
It was fun. I visited Efteling as a kid. My only experience riding a bobsled coaster. It was faster after a rainstorm moved through the park.

The first ride you showed is the classic _Round-up_ and the ride you rode as a child was the _Gravitron._ Two totally different riding experiences.
Johnny the wood coaster difference is the car an the supports have a tarnished warm out look if you look closer.
