Holosun hasn't released their rifle lights yet. Im using Acebeam for the past couple of years but like i explained in the video, the old P15 had a lot of drawbacks and i didnt see a point in making a video about it
“This is so simple; I don’t know why every light doesn’t have this standard; I don’t get it-“.. It’s because companies like Surefire realized they can charge you $100 for a separate & adaptable pressure switch. (Surefire pro setup = $600 subtotal)
i think people have been burned by too many chinese product in the past for most people to try chinese products again, but some chinese products are good most brands have their stuff made in china anyway they just dont announce that it is, so good stuff does come out of china like dji as an example or lenovo
Very good brand but i feel like they lack the technical knowledge of firearms market - i am always trying to give them feedback to make the lights more interesting to me and other gun people 😅 For example their headlmps - i would love for them to make a black strap instead of the orange one. And their LEP lights could be used as rifle lights if they designed them properly and with enough of flood to make them usable in close range also
I'm not sure if you guys can get the REIN 3.0 or not but man that light is something else. The tailcap is superior to every weapon light I've had and the candella is so ridiculous that it punches through everything. It's expensive for sure though but I haven't found a better light especially one that comes out of the box as a complete package.
Really enjoying my Pokelight at work and at home. I got the copper version, the heft and patina is nice. Stil waiting on my DVOR purchase of the terminator (M2x? I forget the version it's been 6+ weeks...) to ship and arrive.
I know, I'm using Acebam for a long time and i love the lights but people watching our videos will think just that - "oh, another chinese crap" So if do the video with this premise in mind i can better relate to them and maybe educate them
The big problem with these lamps is that they are not compatible with SureFire sockets. So if you want to couple a laser module and this lamp on the same contactor, as you could do with a SureFire and a PEQ15. Well, that is not possible with this lamp.
Yes, seems so. Also all the black ones from first batch are gone, we bought them all 😅 Maybe i can convince them to do it but im not sure what kind of finish that would be...

Meh. Spend a little more (around $185, no mount, no tape switch) for a Weltool LH8 build. The LH8 is the best rifle flashlight head on the market by far. Higher candela, low voltage protection (can use cheap flat top 18650/18350 batteries), regulated driver (better sustained performance). Like the Cloud Rein 3.0, but better.
I wasn't familiar with the Weltool brand at all. Checked some reviews and seems they make some great flashlights that are surefire mount and switch compatible Thanks for the heads up!
LH8 high candela means it has narrow beam. If that suits you - fine. But for closer distance G15 may work better. Where did you find LH8 with body and tail cap for $185? On weltool page such package costs $215
@@emkro what about LEP? I'm loosely following the tech and it seems the biggest problems is that it has too narrow beam and not enough flood to be useful for guns
@@PolenarTactical I think typical LEP doesn't make much sense mounted on a gun. Way too narrow beam to be any useful for "tactical" applications. Honestly, LEP lights are super cool, but their practical applications are rather limited.
Sooo it's GOOD that they don't just include an mlok compatible mount? So I can just "buy one I like"? Even Olight provides an MLok solution for the exact same price...it's CHINESEIUM bro they will have to include it if they want to sell it
Cvlife makes a better light than this that is cheaper. They are great and don't flicker when firing. The remote switch is superior to many flashlight remote switches.
@TwoWheelNinja I've had 2 stream lights fail and I've only had 4 of them, I have about 15 olights and never had a single one fail. I EDC'd olights for 5 years. I carry a cloud now, but the olights are the best Chinese.
I was at a match recently and due to environmentals my Surefire turbo scout was just enough to illuminate targets at 120 yards. Thats with 100k candela. Less powerful lights couldn’t push through to illuminate.
