I'm at the point where the domain name and IP address should be linked but nothing happens. I bought the domain name and entered the 3 digitalocean servers on namecheap, I waited 15 hours.
But when I type the name of my site or the IP address in the search bar, I get a crash page.
What should I do?

Point your domain DNS to cloudflare but on digital ocean leave it as is, so on on Digital ocean your DNS point to your domain.

I have been using hostinger for more than 3 years now, it is a shared hosting, it was easy to do, it is a shared hosting and I was thinking getting something that provides more performance, so my real question is is hard or easy to manage secirity while using DO VPS, any additions things that needs to be taken care of? coz all the shared hosting sites have made it a bit easy... so I am confused a bit.
Usually speaking from my experience shared hosting isn’t good in the long run coz of its limited resources and security. With cloud you can scale your website that gives blazing speed . Great video but I stack on 13:39. I can not type "@" to write my email at console. I tried on-screen keyboard but it did not work. What should ı do ?
That’s kinda strange but can you try copying and pasting the “@“ from anywhere on to your console. Maybe from the web or your computer copy @ sign and paste it into your console.
@@wpalgoridm It did not work either but I found another solution. I connected my droplet with SSH from Mac terminal(docs.digitalocean.com/products/droplets/how-to/connect-with-ssh/openssh/). It was super easy. Thank you!

Hi, my domain (my own website) does not show the SSH Config for Wordpress. Do I have to wait any longer? I have waited for 30min already. It keeps showing -> " took too long to respond." Thx in advance for any help.
Did you point your domain to the droplet IP? Both www and normal versions should point to the droplet IP if not then wait a little longer until it shows up.

First setup a digital ocean website as explained in the video and then you point nameservers to cloudflare but on digital ocean you don’t change anything. That should work flawlessly.

You can use command line based commands but File manager isn’t actually included in this since it’s a Linux based server. I’ll add more info on it as I find it.

Under networking section you can pick the domain add “@“record and “www”record of that domain to any droplet you want. Also make sure it’s the “A” record tab while adding to the domain.

At time : 17:22 , you have told to add 's' in URL of WordPress general setting. When I done, after that I am trying to login to WordPress that wp admin page is not coming. If you how to solve it. Please help me.
Before you add https to your Wordpress site make sure you have an active SSL issued on your domains if not redo the process

That shouldn’t be a problem maybe do it the next day after you’ve changed your DNS.

WordPress is free, you only pay for hosting. Digital Ocean is cloud based hosting that can handle traffic and scale like a champ!

When I buy domain on namecheap, do I need to buy the its ssl cert too? I didn't see you buy ssl cert in namecheap
SSL is configured is at the hosting level as shown in this video. You don’t need to buy it separately!

Why don’t you destroy the droplet and create it again and follow the same steps. This time, you can be a bit more careful.

The easiest way I’d suggest is to destroy the droplet and create a new one with right credentials. If I find any better solution I’ll share it with you.

I think it's possible but wouldn’t recommend it.

hey, bro, I am having trouble redirecting the domain name, the IP is showing that digital ocean startup guide page, but when I check my domain it's saying the site cannot be reached, please help.
Sometimes the propagation may take time, wait for few hours and try again, that must solve the thing.
