Thank you very much for the contribution. I recently bought a BMW E46 320d (2003) and it had the warning lights on. I tried with other versions of INPA without being able to recalibrate the sensor. Using the version video I rectified the steering angle sensor calibration. One note, if you buy the same cable with 4 positions, the position farthest to the right (under letters D-CAN) is the one that worked for me.
The lock to lock technique only requires going from lock to lock once. If you go lock to lock and it doesn't clear then you need to scan the car and relearn the steering angle sensor.
I have an e63 I went from lock to lock , then I shut ignition off and then I restarted it and my light went off. My steering wheel was straight ahead too. Thanks for the video

What kind of software are you using
Compensation Routines doesn't exist on the dsc57, same version of inpa as you. Is there another menu to do this calibration? Working on an E53 X5
Is there a way to do this for E63 650i with active steering?
Doesn't seem to work on E90 in INPA best to remove battery for an Hr then use inpa to go in and read analog data to check the graph is at 0 again or if an issue is present.
Idea for next video, how to repair or delete de SRS light from dash, even if it is a bypass or using INPA. Every e46 has it.

Why on my inpa don't have F4 for steering wheel calibration? It's just same version like yours

what if the steering wheel is pushing the car to the right side while you’re driving?
alignment tire pressure worn bushings etc but mainly alignment
steering wheel could be off if it was ever removed

Mine only opens for Dsc abs not mk60. 2001 330ci (08/00) tried armen from E46 owners he's not been able to get me anywhere with SAS recal help!
PLEASE HELP OR ADVISE : I have problem with my e46 325i /2001
1-Battery light is on
2-transmission faulty light is on
3- I hear a bang when switching from reverse to drive
When I start the car and see this sign faulty transmission , the car can drive on reverse and other gears except for first gear.
If I start the car and sign does not show on dashboard, the car only drives on first gear 35 Km speed max.
Took it to many mechanics and nobody could fix it.
First guy said he fixed alternator and reprogrammed ECM , The second told me to check and change Positon switch which I did today and still problem not fixed .Now they are saying its the alternator which the first guy fixed.
I checked the battery its giving 12.4 V and when car started and I hit Benzin pedal it goes up to 13.9-14 Volt .
I think you may need a new transmission bro, also perfect excuse to manual swap, if it’s not already! Cheers

Yes but I don’t think Protool supports this feature for the e46

How do you know which ABS module to select in INPA? Or will it be the only one listed?

@@OliverGottberg It's written on the module itself. Otherwise, try selecting the version on INPA. They'll either work or they won't

Thanks for these Video's! I tried using INPA to sort this issue on an E82 125i but get the error message "calibration steering angle only with steering wheel balancer" I also tried with tool32 and get the error IFH-0010: DATATRANSMISSION TO CONTROLUNIT DISTURBED. I'm beginning to suspect that something has not installed properly! I've changed the USB port to COM1 and changed the latency to 1. A bit stuck now!

I wonder if the terminals 7-8 weren’t bridged because in the end I used another diagnostics machine and it worked straight away

Thanks for the video. This looks like my problem but in my case the lights come on and off. They disappear when while driving I restart the car.
Another thing is in my case I don't have the shift f4 option. Weird.

You will need bootcamp or VMware to install windows on your Mac

@@kouroshtashvishi5031 you can use an app called parallels if you don't want to partition your storage to windows (which you have to do with bootcamp) either on the hard drive or a flash drive. I recommend parallels since you probably wont be using it that often and I'm guessing you don't want to give up storage on your mac

Happened when I hit a pothole
90% its bad HSR module which new cost 1500 euros. So try to find used one and see that numbers 679.....are the same and you dont need coding. Used modules are around 300 euros. That is among most expencive modules in bmw.
What if my steering angle is 32000 degrees off 💀
the trunk release on my e46 coup is not working , it works fine from the FOB but the button under the dash does nothing now,

With a big badass computer. Come on now how many of us have those. The turn of the wheel is what you said. You should make sure these "little tricks" are gonna work before you show us.
