Excellent video! You do a great job describing the difference in troop mixes for units. I am glad someone else likes to mix knights with lower soldiers. I never understood why people would have knights completely separate from other soldier types. I think your troop mixtures are right on for the period. Thanks for all of these videos!
Thank you Dear Eric glad you enjoyed the video my friend! Totally agree with you and i have many videos with examples for all the friends of the channels to watch and understand how mixed bases are more realistic and look so much better than the clone type bases we used to create with almost identical miniatures in type and armour. Thank you for watching my friend!
Thank you Dear Phil!!Glad you enjoyed the showcase my friend! Well that's is the beauty of the Medieval Era colours and Heraldry! Thank you for watching my friend!
Another great video Nic ... I love the mix of figures You can create with the Perry plastics I have a few for the late Hundred Years war ,a project not yet completed but have a lot for the Wars of the Roses 😊 Your videos will inspire others !
I appreciate you showing these. I'm finding them useful before I start painting my own, knowing what models are suitable for which period of the Hundred Years War.
@@MedievalWargamer I think for me its the individuals that were present during the early part that are more fascinating. I also prefer the Medieval period when shields were present and plate armor was rare. You are quite welcome my friend!
Thank you Dear Michael glad you enjoyed the video my friend! Well you have a good point but remember that i am totally focused on the HYW period for the past almost 14 years i don't paint other eras so within these 14 years you can imagine it is quite easy to create these big armies. Thank you for watching my friend!
Great showcase, lovely paint-jobs too, have you considered doing a wholly Burgundian themed force? I know they often appear as allied units but a proper, full army would be impressive ! Keep-up the great videos :)
Thank you dear Dave glad you enjoyed the showcase my friend! Yes my next HYW projects sometime next year will focus on Allies. My plan is for Flemish for the Earlier Part for the HYW and Burgundians for the later part. Thank you for watching my friend!
Those are beautiful figures. I might have a handful that could compare but I seriously doubt it. In my defence, which is already looking threadbare, my main periods are 28mm AWI and the English Civil War in 15mm. Out of respect for the latter period I always try and be very civil when I lose another battle. They are stunning figures. That is like waking up with a beautiful woman and not thinking, for once, as so many men do, I wonder if there is enough bread left for me to have some toast for breakfast. God I love this hobby. Our little armies fight and nobody gets killed. As always thanks for the hard work.
Great showcase with good information and details on the units. 👍
Thank you dear Nick glad you enjoyed the video my friend!
