I disagree with the character creation part, i think the characters rockstar creates are a million times better and more memorable than any character than we could create, and i also think it would hinder the beggining of the game by putting you in a screen where you have to spend a whole hour sometimes making a character, that's either too stupid and funny looking to be taken seriously, or too perfect to be in the settings and situations that rockstar usually likes to put the protagonists into, having a custom character usually means: -No set personality: Where the character doesn't really have a set personality beforehand so they either make him the most silent and basic they can as to not conflict with any features or plans you had for your character (like it happens in gta online where characters are silent peons with no personality or traits) or they associate a personality to your character that you might not like or think it fits your character (like in saints row 4 and 3). plus, missing out on the great characters and backstories and personalities that rockstar creates is just not worth it, i think character creation is best left for the online mode, where one's character is his own and gets to do activities with other people's characters, instead of creating a lifeless created ragdoll with nothing memorable about it, there's a reason why claude isnt so loved among the community and tommy vercetti, niko bellic and cj are for example
Agreed 100% The story mode is not a RPG. It's to experience Rockstar's story. The online portion is where the RPG elements are and where they can include more RPG aspects

@@PlayerVersusGameactually ye online hardcore seems pretty good or even a more realistic aspect like if you don’t deposit your money you drop it and similar to red dead 2 when you do need to eat and drink to stay healthy but a more advanced version
Love the content. Just subscribed. But I had something to say, for GTA 6, it’s story is already determined by 2 main players, a guy and a girl. The story is supposed to be a Bonnie & Clyde type of game so I doubt we will have a character creation mode unless it’s again on online

And the uhm, weapon customization is already in gta 5 and gta online btw, even in rdr2, and it is even more complex than the last of us, Guns have different types of supressors, skins, explosive, tracer, incendiary and armor piercing ammo, flashlights, scopes, muzzle brakes, grips, grips attachments, barrels, liveries, etc
I believe you, granted its been years since I've played the campaign but I cleared it twice. Do not recall weapon customization or upgrades in the story mode. Guess I'll keep my current playthrigh going and see if I'm wrong on that one.
@@PlayerVersusGame I recommend you visit the online if you've never played it, It is simply great when you're new to it and it has most of the things you're expecting from GTA 6, well atleast the ones mentioned in this video.
also i think a survival mode and a hardcore mode would just be too uninteresting in my opinion, the hardcore mode for example doesn't make sense, this isnt some steam survival game made in unity where you no goal but to survive, there is a story here and losing and having to restart everything, watching all the cutscenes, seeing all the drama play out, doing all the missions once more, that were supposed to be a one or two time experience would just be tedious filler whenever you die, this would make sense in a game where the progression is linear and the gameplay is the only core element, but in a story guided game? really? also for the survival mode i think it would just be annoying to have to pay attention to all of those things, losing muscle mass and eventually losing a small chunk of your health bar if you dont eat in days would be very interesting (like it is in gta san andreas and rdr2) but having to literally eat every few minutes and dying if you dont would be VERY annoying and uninteresting and tedious to do, maybe getting a slightly bigger health bar if you're well fed would make up for it but yeah
