Hi! Thank you for sharing. I have also sold some and give away some of my bags. With the same reasons and some in different reasons why I don’t have them in my collection anymore. From the bags that I don’t own them anymore 2 of the bags that I do miss them, and both are from Chanel. One of the is the GST and the other one is a tote bag in the grey. It is a seasonal bag. The Silhouette of the bag is the same of the Victoria II bag of Hermes. It was 2013 when I bought the bag. Both are beautiful but heavy. For now I have collection that is so more me. My HERMES Birkin 35 Togo leather in Etoupe. I purchased the bag in 2010 and was over the moon. Could not believe a girl with humble beginnings could ever own such a bag, brand new and direct from the boutique.
Due to the price I was petrified to wear the bag. Every time I wore the bag I would have heart palpitations and when I did wear the bag it felt as if I were holding a ton of bricks.
That bag bought me no joy, truthfully, it caused me more heartache. In 2016 I sold the bag and used the funds to buy my Kelly 35.
I love my Kelly and use more carefree.

I fell in love with the Givenchy Antigona Medium. I watched so many videos. It ended up being the heaviest bag ever. It has sat in my closet for a year without using it . Still think it’s a gorgeous bag.

Agreed on St. Laurent pebbled leather. It is amazing. I have a cross body camera bag black with gold logo. It was an impulse buy and it turned out to be well-worth it. 2.5 years later and it still looks like brand new.

I was IN LOVE with the medium Antigona until it arrived in the post. After I pulled it out of the box, I was crushed that it was so weighty. I tried to carry it one day, and it just didn’t work. The small is a bit better, but I find the opening to be a bit too narrow for my liking.
Great video Minnie 👌🏾! I just started collecting last year lux goods last year. I completely understand the “does this work for me” idea, does it or am I trying to make it work lol. It’s hard when you first fall for something and then realize ummm No 🤦🏾♀️.

Great video! I fell in love with the Epi Speedy in Borneo green. I dreamed about that dang bag! Researched and looked until I found the perfect one. Purchased it and used it a handful of times and it just wasn't what I thought it would be. Now it's for sale. But like you said, you live, you learn.

I think doing the research on bags that you’re lemming for is the best part of the process of getting it. I just love checking out youtube videos (yours especially! and you have inspired me to want a few bags in my collection!) and seeing how others carry the bag and fall more in love with it. So technically, I fall in love with the bag, even before I have it. Weird but true. Lol. Love ya Minnie!

Loved this video Minnie! I loved the LV favourite PM so I ended up buying it and used it for a while but the magnetic closure just didn't give me enough of a security so I ended up selling it. But as with many LV pieces, the resale value was so good I didn't lose much on it at all! Xx

I agree with all except I love ❤️ my Artsy especially the newer version with the rope in the strap instead of the cork and I attached the new bando strap like you have, but mine is mono/black! That’s one of my forever bags especially with the new added strap that makes it crossbody when needed.
What a great topic Minnie! That’s why it’s better to watch some videos and get some idea if that bag works for your lifestyle. Based on my experience i watched you regarding Alma Bb and it’s been a year now i still love and enjoy that bag. Thanks to you and all the Luxury bloggers for sharing all the stories and experiences. I have minimised my collection to under 10 bags including non-luxury brand. I finally sold my Prada tote that I purchased on sale a few years ago but it was horribly heavy! I’ve also sold a Speedy 30 (perfect size) and a Speedy 35. Handheld bags just don’t work for me. I am not elegant enough 😆 Still on a mission on selling my Chanel WOC atm because I finally added my dream bag, a vintage 2005 edition Reissue 225.
I am so happy with my collection now but I am much more conscious about resale value before purchasing another piece😊 Since purchasing my first preloved vintage piece, I am in love with vintage Chanel now. They age well & are so classic.

Such awesome video. I agree with you picks to sell them. I still have my Artsy, I did think to sell it but I just can’t do it. I’m a little bit different than others. I don’t wear s lot of my bags but I collect them. By looking at them and to have them , it just make me sooo happy. Thank You for sharing❤️

Sadly it’s my chanel gst beige caviar with silver hardware. I carry a bag organizer and the middle zipper has made it hard to transition from my other bags to it. I’ve only used it twice since I bought it in February. I’m going to have to sell, but I love the look. Ugh such a hard decision.

Love the video and your detailed explanations. The Celine mini is a heavy bag, I agree--but I'll never get rid of it. I give you a lot of credit. I'm still looking for another one in souris and I'd love a mini Antigona to go with my medium.

I felt this way about the LV Duomo. I loved that it was a crossbody and had a hobo feel but my taste changed to wanting more structure. I carried it twice and then didn’t touch it for like 4 months and decided after trying to carrying it again, that it was for me and sold it. It’s a great bag, I had it sold in 5 days. It’s completely OK to change your taste in what you like 😊
Good Morning Minnie, you are absolutely right regarding the Artsy, I own it in the azur and everything you said is what Ive experienced. I tried working with it by adding a samorga organizer to make it easier to find my items, however it made it boxier. Strangely the Artsy is the only bag that I appreciate its sag. I added the bandouliere strap but that only hides the rope handle one of its beauty and it overall looks strange just does not work for me. I wish I could sell it but scared too as Ive never sold anything in my life.
I completely understand why you sold that beautiful GST- I recently bought a Galet Capucines, and a beige Diorever and have realised I totally need to change my wardrobe to match them. I wear so many dark items- but its so hard. I love dark colours... but OMG, that doesn't stop me wanting that GST. You look beautiful xx
Saddle bags were huge last year and I ended up picking some. Chloe drew was one that I was forever after. And so was Chloe Nile. I did get a Marc Jacobs in a pale lavender colour. And then the drew. And then added Nile as well. All of these bags are beautiful. But somehow I’ve grown out of them all.☹️ Don’t know how much I’m going to get though but yeah. And as always, ❤️ ur video. Priyanka Sardana I had a Marc Jacobs saddle bag in off white and I thought it would be a perfect summer bag. Found out saddle bags just don't work for me and I sold it.
Such a great video Minnie, as always!!! You literally just talked me out of repurchasing my Celine Mini! I’ve had the micro and it was super heavy even for its size and I’ve had a smooth mini and it was heavy. I’m heading back to work next month and considered repurchasing a mini as a work bag and this video just validated why I’ve been hesitant!

I sold all of my Gucci and Fendi collections years ago. I just wasn’t in love with them anymore, and the resale value sucked. I started a new collection from scratch in 2015. So far I have bought the following/ black jumbo, pink jumbo, red jumbo, mono and azure Neverfull, deauville, Pochette Metis, chanel boy, and Chanel mini. I’m in love with my current collection, and I don’t see myself selling any of it. Next I want the black empreinte arty and Alma mm.

I totally relate with the lifestyle of having mostly dark wardrobe & craving a light colored bag. Ugh the struggle! LV has some beautiful light pink Babylone/Mahina bags.

I'm actually having some problem you had with the Artsy with my Neverfull. I guess I have big arms the it annoys me to death. I have been having it for 5 years and I hardly ever use it. I love it and always wanted it but so frustrated with it.
Have you seen the LV Graceful? It has a little more of a strap drop than the Artsy. I’ve been debating getting it recently!
I was in handbag denial with my Tivoli mm for many years I kept ignoring how irritating it was dealing with the straps constantly falling off my shoulder, even if I crossed them they still slipped off. I finally sold it and I miss the look of the front pleats and size. But I'm glad I can use the money for something else.
Have you tried the flower hobo? It holds its structure and has a longer drop. I ❤️❤️ it!
Hey! I am a new subscriber and have watched a lot of your videos! Love them! Do you find that a Speedy 30 gets heavy like the purses you didn't keep? I really thought I NEEDED the bigger Speedy, especially with the small opening the 25, but now I am questioning how heavy the 30 is. Maybe I just need to not "fill" it. I carry more stuff than I really even need. Like a full size lotion. lol
I sold 3 of my 4 Celine phantoms idk I was super excited but I felt it was a hassle and felt anxiety about carrying it. Also I bought a large Celine belt bag and decided I’ll use it for holiday travel to carry larger items and a scarf or blanket. I travel too much to worry about lugging a huge bag , so it’s all mini to medium crossbody bags for me❤️

I myself have sold many handbags and agree with you entirely. If you are not using it for whatever reason it may be better to use your funds to purchase another handbag you will use frequently. I purchased a pre loved GST in black caviar with shw at the consignment shop I was working at and never used it so it went to Fashionphile. 🖤 I think I dmed you when I purchased it in the Spring of 2017 and you kindly wrote back. 🤗🤗

Ah the artsy, I sold mine, but whenever I see someone carrying it always catches my eye because of its beauty. I agree the strap was so thick and it got so heavy
i just can‘t bring myself to wear bags that are not black or LV canvas. i bought a souris micro luggage but i just always go for the black one. souris is a stunning colour and i absolutely love that bag but i for some reason i always go for black bags
Loved this video Minnie ❤️❤️ I am finding that the bags I like a lot times do not work for me...But then sometimes I add an extra long strap which sometimes if the bag does not already include helps...My question is for the LV Artsy MM would buying the wider LV longer strap for the bag would that have been a good thing to do or would the long strap ruin the shape of the bag? I am also learning that too big or too small does not always mean you will use more...In the past I could carry bigger bags but became too heavy and the smaller ones would not fit even all my SLG...Now I am stumped on what size bag is the best...I love all bags since I was very little...My Mom used to find me either running for the toy store as much as when I saw purses lol Sending you many hugs 🤗 🤗🤗🤗💗💗

Yea you know what i Just bought a bag it’s, My lv world tour speedy b 30. And personalised by stickers but just one at the side of the Speedy because I wanted to be plain and simple with gorgeous red interior and with black leather. And the bag was absolutely gorgeous I was loving this bag so much but I don’t know when ever I was carrying this bag on shoulder or as a hand carry its look so ugly on me and doesn’t suits with my personality even though it’s such a popular bag and everybody carrying it. But it’s not look nice on me so that’s why I sold it and I was very disappointed because I wanted that bag but not feel comfortable carry this bag otherwise the bag is sooooo gorgeous and beautiful and classic. But it’s doesn’t suits my lifestyle. I have Turenne pm which is similar to speedy and Turenne pm is suits with me and enjoying a lot too. But not speedy 😉

i‘m upset because i watched many reviews on the phantom and nearly everybody ended up selling it or said that it‘s extremely heavy and insecure. but literally that style is me in a bag. if i had to describe myself i‘d just say „i‘m a celine phantom“ LOL seriously it looks phenomenal, i wish it was more practical because i‘d buy it in a heartbeat

Do you own any Celine bags now? I love the look of the Celine totes but after hearing your opinion, I’m nervous about those two. Any other large totes you recommend?
The one that broke my heart was the Pallas. I had wanted the Sully that was out in like 2014 or 2015 but it was discontinued. Then I found the Pallas (the big one not the cute clutch) but it just didn’t work out for me. The Berri-I love that one!!! But I need an organizer for it because it can be a beautiful mess and that makes my ocd go off the charts.

Ouch! The Celine looks beautiful! 7-9 pounds is heavy! It’s like cradling a baby! And when you hold a baby for more than a couple of hours (not even a couple of hours), you need to put the baby down lol! When I used to feed my baby or rock her to sleep (while sitting), I thought my arm was going to fall off! Hahahahaha!
I remember when u got the celine phantom but I can only imagine how heavy that was to carry and in the Cali heat wow that would make you sweat a few pounds off 🤣🤣🤣

The LV Artsy MM is one of my most favorite bags. Mine is very soft and relaxed. It too was a must have on my list and I couldn't be happier with it. I wish it would have worked for you! I did just see a post on IG and the girl put what looks like one of the keepall straps on it and used it as a longer shoulder bag/cross-body. I'm thinking I could try my Speedy B strap and see if I like it then try to find the thicker strap since the bag is bigger. Or even the monogram strap might look nice!! Options, options :)

Louis vuitton favorite mm, i honestly love it very much, very roomy, very easy to access my stuff, love using it until there is a line showing up on the bag, you probably know what i am talking about, the magnetic closure inside the bag that cause the line, anyways, it just turn me off, then i sold it

My sister in law has the artsy and I have seen first hand all the things that didn’t work for you. It definitely looks uncomfortable because how tall it is and how thick the strap is. I as well don’t like the fact that it tends to lean over. It’s a beautiful bag, but not for me. I like you prefer structured bags as well as smaller bags.
