It should be "velbekomme" and is used to wish someone that the meal they are eating or have just finished eating is enjoyable and good for them.
Where you had lunch on the 2nd day is not a river; but lake. These are lakes that are part of the old ramparts surrounding the oldest part of Copenhagen. Too bad you didn't stay in Tivoli in the evening. Tivoli is especially beautiful and very romantic even though there are rides. But impressive how much you achieved and get to see. But you must come back because there is much more to discover; also in other cities near Copenhagen.

Danish kroner are most widely accepted, but most places also accept euros. Most places fake cc too, USD is not as common
