Greetings from Calcutta, India. You have done an astounding job. I am from India but, you know, there are 14 languages in India with numerous dialects of each language! I speak English and Bengali (my mother tongue). So those Hindi revievs are almost useless to me. Your detailed review has come as a life saver to me. Thank you very very much.
Thank you. My issue is poor consistency. I'm hoping to get my shit together to make this a better year. We've rebranded and now I only have myself to blame if I don't have content out.
Vault is a company that does it for the love of music and not money. Such reasonable prices and the products are absolutely top notch. being using their guitars for 4 years now, and their Les Paul sounds better than a 700$+ Epiphone for a price of less than 120$. I don't know how they do it, but they do it and I am proud it's from my country. was looking for a review to this audio interface and found the perfect video. Thank You!
I was looking to buy this but, as you said, not much information was available on the internet about this. Now after watching this video, i think i can safely go for this...
Yeah vault is a India based company but in terms of quality they are top notch and comparable to focusright and Behringer. They are mainly a musical company hear in India and they are providing ibanez quality electric guitars at a low price of 100 to 150$ range. Overall very satisfied with their products.
@@ShoutHouse they have been active in India for abt 2 years or so. I have bought their rg1 guitar and I absolutely love it. It was 150$ and as good as the Ibanez and Jackson guitars.
Hey... Nice Demo. Really useful! Would like to know about the Driver. Are they generic ASIO ones (Behringer UM2 has an ASIO Driver Only)? Or is it specific to this item? Also does it do 96K 24-bit recording smoothly? Thank you in advance!
That's not really what an interface is for. An interface is used to get vocals from a microphone into your computer correctly and with higher quality. High/loud vocals can sort of be controlled by changing in the input gain, but there's a lot more to recording vocals than that. If you find that you're peaking a lot, make sure to set your input gain correctly and then also be cognisant of how you speak into your mic.
@osiris-guitar well I have diabled direct monitoring aswell and still no go...well it's a generic audio interface (Vault solo A.I) I've installed ASIO DRIVERS aswell
Hey...Can anyone tell me the recording levels for guitar? Mine gives about -12 dB when i turn the gain knob all the way up. Does anyone face the problem of low signals?
Good bless for the English review! Would you prefer this over Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen? I don't record anything but I need excellent clean output from my computer to the speakers, what do you suggest?
I would not recommend this for clean output to speakers if you're not recording. You would have a better experience with an AMP/DAC combo. Maybe something like the Syba Sonic or something from Fiio or SMSL.
I guess Vault Ai22 is muuuch bigger in size than Scarlett 2i2 and that is why it is cheaper. If u have both devices can u please share a photo of them side by side? I am considering to travel with it hehe.
It's quite bigger, but I don't have the ability to post images. Let's get to 1000 subs and I will! I do not suggest traveling with either really, but a smaller device would be better than this for travel.
Hi Blessen. I have not used it with Ableton Live lite, but I have used it with quite a few other DAWs. It works great with everything I've thrown at it and can't imagine it wouldn't work with Ableton.
@@ShoutHouse thank you so much .. So I hope till date it's working fine right without any issue? And So my purpose is for vocal and electric guitar recording and I'm going ahead to buy this....cool right!?
@@blessenpaul659 Yes I think you'd be 100% fine to go with this. If you're worried, then there's always the Scarlett 2i2 which would also do what you want, but for more money possibly.
@@ShoutHouse Got it. Thanks for the reply. I ended up getting myself the UMC202HD. Been pretty decent. Still not sure what the hype with the Focusrite is.
Hey I just bought mine and I love it it works fine within itself. But I have a Windows 10 and it's not recognizing the microphone, only the speakers so I can't record. the interface works just fine. If I were to play some music on my computer I could use the large knob and listen to it through my speakers I could also hear through my headphones. but getting the interface and my system to work together with the condenser mic is a bit challenging can you help me? My intent is to record in producer edition of FL studios 12
We did not experience this issue. Maybe try a different USB port and confirm your audio settings are correct. If that doesn't work, you'll want to contact the manufacturer.
As far as I understand, the interface you use is irrelevant to which software you use. It's not like back in the day when you had to get an MBox to use with protools. It uses generic Asio drivers and is plug&play.
I got this vault today, when I play guitar through this interface device I got delay while playing guitar, after I play in 3 seconds I can here it from headphone connected to interface, I am using ableton live, what would be the setting I should go through, please help me, is driver is available for this interface?
I did not test this. I'm sorry, the guitar was more of an afterthought. However, it is USB 2.0, not 3.0, so there may be a modest delay, but probably not much. I think this will depend on your computer more.
I'm sorry guys, I don't really do recording into this using a guitar. I might give it a go soon. I did a basic overview of that but I won't be going into detail.
I replace them with solid electrolytes, they are more reliable and last longer. Most quality gear has them already. But it should last a good number of years with the caps it has. With how much you save getting this unit, it's worth the extra trouble to spend like $5 and recap it so it would last longer.
When you started dismantling it and then reassemblibg it I instantly hit the sub. Very informative video
Thanks Temsulong! I'll try to do more content like this in the future. We've rebranded so we should have some new stuff out.
This is the review that I was looking for...Great job there 🤘...keep it coming with more of such audio equip vdos.

Can you review vault monitoring speakers? The CS 5 or something is the model name if im not wrong..its cheap as well
Should we have split out the teardown onto the Thinky Factory channel? Let us know. We can still split out just that part over here too!
I totally agree with you Sir.
I have bought vault i2 bundle and its perform excellent
Truly better than expected
Hi, I've a question when we take out from vault it is sounding in mono...how to take stereo out.
great reviews
Great review 👍
I just got Vault AI22 HD I have to choose ASIO in daw and then choose Vault in it.
How to get the driver?
Thanks for the awesome review! Since you already got an ipad, Will it support GarageBand in iPad (not MacBook or PC)?
Hi Melvin, I don't have an iPad to test this on. I personally would not use a tablet for recording so I wouldn't know. good luck!
hello sir , i need help .. i want vault asio driver but vault website is not open ..plz help me

Should we go for Vault Ai-22HD
