Mommas, let’s normalize that motherhood can be joyous and tough at the same time, glorious and terrifying, fulfilling yet demanding and tiring. It’s got ups and it’s got downs. Let’s be honest with ourselves and our fellow mommas. Let’s tell it like it is so others know that they are not alone in this journey. Every experience is different, but it doesn’t take away from how hard and beautiful it can be.
Listen I'm a mother to a 5 years old boy , 2 years 5 months boy and a 11 months old baby girl, I swear I lose it. My family expects me to be super mom, budge each time they cry. They just don't get it except my husband, when I tell him I'm tired he owns up & takes over. From bathing to feeding to putting them to bed. He does it without a fuss for maybe 3 days until I've regrouped & collected myself. My 5 years old son is slowly but surely coming up alright, young & so fragile as he is believe it or not he helps, the other day I was really drained & he ran to the playroom, took out the toys then called his siblings to come play, for a good 2 hours he was a big brother & to my surprise took really good care of them, he'd tell them "no don't do that you'll hurt yourself". It gets too much but hey support is amazing.

The thing about intrusive thoughts is they're just thoughts. What we think, act, or feel isn't what matters. Those only last for a moment that will last for so long. It's whether we do or do not act on them that matters.

My first two had colic. The desperation you feel is real. Every day, every hour was just about survival. But I told myself, they can either cry alone in a crib, or they can cry while I hold them. So I held them. We got through it.
Recently had a baby and I hate the fact that they're are so many things that we're just not told. Learning on the "job" is crazy. No one ever says it's tough especially those first few months. I had a c-section and everywhere hurt, on top of feeling lonely and alone. It was scary. Yes I love my baby but its tough too.

Mrs Goodwin talk about motherhood to heart to heart I was very impressed with Mrs Goodwin. Mrs Goodwin found the girl your voice to open her up. This is so smart you need to do if you are doctor or nurse.
