How clean is that engineroom? So clean the surgeon could operate on the deck! I would imagine "Brasso" and "Silvo" polish would have came in five gallon drums. Beautiful video of a grand and majestic vessel, thank you.
Royal Navy should never have been used for this vessel. It should never have been commissioned onto the Navy. The Navy have far more important tasks to perform than being used as bell boys with brasso.
Whine, Whine, Whine and then you can't see why people don't have any pride in Britain and being British and I take it you don't know how clean all Navy Ships are? Or that She was a Floating Embassy? No because you just decided to hate watch and complain, my Grandfather used to say "If you don't have anything nice or constructive to say don't say anything at all," it's no wonder that the WW2 Troops are fed up with this Generation, but hey they just put their lives on the line for Freedom, democracy and to save a Suffering Humanity from Tyranny and some of them might have thought twice about travelling 4.000 plus miles from the US, Australia and other parts of the World/Empire and today's Military get fed up with all of the Snowflakes and those who spend their time complaining about the things that they thought important
@@kevnwarriner8819 Oh and by the way. My grandfather was killed on the first day of the battle of Arras. He has no known grave. My mother was born two months after he was killed and never got to see her dad. My grandmother was awarded a widows pension which was so low that it was poverty, she took in washing to survive. So no a another bloody yacht would go down like a lead balloon with me. My gteat uncle was killed in that meat grinder Gallipoli, he also has no known grave, his name appears on the Helles memorial Gallipoli. My dad's younger brother Bill was killed at El Alemein and I was named after him. My father served all through WW2 and died in 1957 from his injuries. I served ironically in the Queens Regiment with operational tour's under my belt. So don't preach. Get off of your high horse, stop calling people snowflakes. And above all get your priorities sorted out.
I Spent two years on this yacht 69/70 great memories.... shame it ever got decommissioned.......

UK should restore Britannia, make it like Air Force One. But only for the British Monarch
could britannia be restored even a this stage and i think a royal yacht should exist. it can do far more for this country than ever the government can
Not too shabby!
That was good ...
they should keep this Royal Yacht
catcat Sue yes legendary boat craft
catcat Sue it’s still there at ocean terminal in Edinburgh
Technically, it's not a 'ship' it's a yacht.
Can you still blow the whistle on the ship
We would like it to work and it's on our list to look at!
Royal Yacht Britannia is the USA flag on the ship
Britannia: Shiny eng. room
Queen Mary: oil on the walls, empty boiler rooms, ...

@@kevnwarriner8819 Not sure what all of that has got to do with a floating palace when the country is broke.
