Hundreds of years of horological progress, skilled craftsmanship, and materials science breakthroughs, and yet the thing that can more than double the value of a watch is some barely visible white ink indicating a company that had absolutely nothing to do with its production. Nevermind that the actual design of said watch is garish and unbalanced in the extreme. The Swiss industry has definitely lost its way. Luckily for those of us who aren't in this hobby to impress others, there's still German and Japanese watchmaking.
