    Another great video!
As an aside, I was at family event this weekend where a few of us started talking about “if I won the lottery I’d buy a yacht...”. My dad said “I watch a chap on TH-cam called boatholic or yachtholic”, to which I replied “you mean Aquaholic?”.
He said “Ah yes that’s the name! I can’t get enough of his videos.
Then the rest of the guys in the convo all said “ohhhh yes I’ve watched his videos too!”
Just though you’d like to know!

Nice boat. Glad it had owners goods in it instead of being empty. Shows how the space is being used. All together a nice boat for a couple or small family. Very managable. Good video. Thankyou.

@@AQUAHOLIC Yes i would love to see how that blue light below the seating area in the cockpit and on the fly bridge looks at night on some of these mid size boats!

Hello aquaholic, I was recently in Ibiza and in the harbour there was the “radiant yacht” it was huge and I researched it and it turns out it’s the 30th biggest yacht in the world and costs around £260 million! If you was to ever tour a yacht of that size the video would be hours aha!

I agree. It would be even better if Aquaholic would get a Karma Grip (or similar) and an external mic for his GoPro.

Another beautiful boat from Princess, I have always liked the V class,,,,, I used to go to Southampton Boat show every year and remember well the V55 from the mid 90s.... Although the the Princess areas back then were great areas..... I did have a personal favorite stand which was the Salt Beef Sandwiches, always busy!! I am sure the man that run that must have a Princess himself by now! Thanks for the memories Nick!

Nicely packaged and upgraded, as you point out. I always wonder WHY boats of this size have so many lounge areas: in this case, even one directly behind another. My preferred design change would solidly enclose the lovely blue upholstered lounge, moving the galley/dining space up a level and acquiring decent space for crew amidship.

A cricket bat! should come in handy. Well if they forced my hand I could live with this boat and it is proper quick but I am a fair bit more partial to the Princess 52 Fly specifically in the white carpet version just a year later. Only modestly more expensive than this one yet fully modern era design. Whiff of 70 foot. Real top notch class. The F52 is so magical that I'd say it's a mistake that it isn't made anymore. The F55 is very similar but about twice the price in only 6 years.

Upgraded table in Salon, the base looks flimsy. ;) Boat looks very, very well cared for and clean. I'm not a sport cruiser person, I like this though, however I am a below deck galley person too. I find the new designs with aft main deck galley, it's "reduced." And to me with a BBQ, ice maker / fridge all in cockpit area, there's more than enough tables and appliances to cater that area without making it "the galley."

    • @AQUAHOLIC
      @AQUAHOLIC  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hey there Germany! Depreciation is a difficult one to quantify and can depend on external forces - for example over the last few years some used boats have been rising in value as the effects of the recession ease. But generally, on a high quality boat, they hold their value well - much better than a typical expensive car for example.

Would expect a small third cabin on a 50ft boat.

It was an option when the boat was new instead of the lower dinette, but most people preferred (and thus opted for) this layout.

If you don't take the time to clean it, why should I take my time to buy it?

Nice but it is really a 55' boat ie. you can't fit it into a 16m berth. The Princess 50 mark 3 is a true 50' boat with more room and a third cabin. No V drives on the 50/3 either...

That boat looks properly lived in, not just a really nice showpiece.
