REALLY! Is Lewis Cine a BUST?

- We have a ton of Vikings fans that believe Lewis Cine is a bust already! How do you feel about this? I have a feeling we as Vikings fans need to give him 1 more year man. After that injury I knew it was gonna be tough to bounce back.

Kwesi scares the hell out of me. If he keeps drafting this way we will be picking in the top 5 like the old Lions teams.

Yes. On the job training with Kwesi, who was a rookie GM. His negotiation scare me. He waits and waits on signing marquee players. He waited to sign Hock, and his number skyrocketed. The longer he waits, the more expensive the player becomes. I don't get it. Could have had JJ last year easily for 25 mill/year 5 years 3 years guaranteed. 100%. Now it is going to cost 30 plus million...I hope he is learning, and learns quickly...

Idc idc idc I’m still a huge Lewis Cine fan and I still have high hopes for him but man his time is starting to run out
Cine has not been able to even get on the field it is possible that he may have still been recovering from his broken leg even though he was cleared to play all season. Theo Jackson was a rookie that was getting playing time, Jay Ward was another rookie getting some playing time, it seems like Cine is a bust. Hopefully he can still be a good player but right now that seems doubtful.

The Ravens just seem to have a knack for picking the Vikings pocket. Remember when we gave up a 4th round pick to the Ravens for a punter we cut a few weeks later. UGH.. Now pro bowler Hamilton vs a healthy scratch Cine. The Ravens are playing chess, while the Vikings are playing checkers.

If Lewis doesn’t pan out this season, then I would say yeah he’s a bust, but I give him a fair chance first.

if he dosnt play next year as a 1st string then hes a bust.. pretty sure he was draft to replace the hitman.. now with the hitman getting up in age not sure if hes going to come back next year.. 2024 szn will tell if hes a bust or not..
They were not sitting Harrison in possibly his last year.

Not a good start, but put him in the Matellus position, move Josh to Hitman’s spot, and send Cine to the QB. He’s an in the box player.

Tons of guys were ballers in college but can't play in the NFL. I'm not saying for certain Lewis Cine is one of those guys, but when it comes to optimism I need more than he was good in college.
We will learn a lot more this coming year, do or die IMO ! Wish him the best 🍀

His rookie season he never splashed. Prior to injury he seemed to be struggling with processing of what he was seeing on the field, as he played slow. I get it he was a rookie, but no big splash games and he seemed to be struggling going up the depth chart. Watching him in college he was a flat out-missile. I have yet to see that guy even when healthy. The guy is rarely seen now even in interviews. It’s now or never this season.
Yes and no, just because we haven’t seen a full game of him playing, I can’t say he is a bust just yet.

Spot-on about Cine being tied to Hamilton. However, it is still to early to judge Cine. He didn't even dress for games this past year, his second year as a pro! Obviously, the extent of that broken bone was majorly severe! Next year will be Cine's time to get on the field and show the world what he can do. After next year's season will be the time to assess whether or not Cine is a bust.

Injury was bad. His ankle was 90 degrees the wrong way. Kwesi has been killing drafts ever since. Donatell should be tied to that. The problem now is most people are too stupid to see what Kwesi does with picks and how he uses UDFA

He may not be a bust but look who was ahead of him on the depth chart. Smith, Mettalus and Bynum, three really good safeties. He maybe ready by next year that is probably why the Vikings fired their head trainer.
A bust is him NOT havin the talent to be a first round pick or an NFL player. I think that injury as alot to do with him getting better and becoming a 10 yr starting safety. I have faith in #6.
