    What are the limitations of that style of deep index notch compared to other grips you have used?

      it feels good in both reverse and stranded and i feel the index notch is one of the best way to go when using smooth or polished handles ie the cold steel espada with other handle designs one will need more aggressive handle scales

    I always watch your videos to learn more about knives. I was wondering if you or your brother have any up-coming videos on a truck EDC or more hunting gear? keep up the good work

    Would you say the StreetBeat is good for concealed carry in the front pocket of a jeans?

    • @Hissatsu5
      @Hissatsu5  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Darofla ya but it doesn't give you a lot of advantages over other knives.

      Thanks. I am carrying an Izula at the moment but I woul like to try the ergonomics of the Spyderco.

      Absolutely! I often carry mine in the right front pocket. Especially the rounded butt of the micarta handle makes it extremely comfortable to carry this way. In the pocket, it is absolutely invisible yet can still be deployed quickly. Other than that, due to its fantastic ergos, it also outperforms many other small EDC fixed blades when worn on the belt or IWB with the Spyderco G-clip.

    Corsican "Vendetta" knife. Great review, as usual.

    I thought bowies were illegal in Texas?

    • @Hissatsu5
      @Hissatsu5  11 ปีที่แล้ว

      The rules are 51/2 in or less and we can't carry double edges but we can carry switchblades now

    if an edged tool is made in japan you can be sure that it is of high quality I have not had a single Japanese knife that is bad but myself so I prefer to collect on American brands have a dark timber 1911 elite which is the favorite but get home my street beat in the same model soon so it will be fun to play with it in the woods and see what it goes for

      vg10 on both of them the street bowie is 5in blade length and the street beat is 3.50 and the street bowie only comes in black

      bummer, i think im still wanting the street bowie though, hate how coating strip off of blades, but it is a sick looking blade

    Does anybody ever worry about carrying a blade concealed? I usually have a neck knife on me but here in Ohio, the knife laws are very vague and a ccw permit doesn’t allow for carrying blades.

      thepowerbill1 in Texas the government doesn't care if you carry a knife concealed or not

    I like the knife, but then I'm in California.
    I'm sure you guys don't need or even want another Californio. But I REALLY want to move to Texas.
