I come from Durham and when I visit my family in Guiseley Leeds I bring my 3 dogs with me every time. My baby dog Teddy was diagnosed with cancer last week and we don’t know yet if he can have treatment or not. My heart is completely broken Trevor and Pat. You seem like dog lovers so please can you pray for him. I’m asking everyone to pray for my baby Teddy. I can’t have kids due to a hospital mess up so my dogs are my children. I love listening to your videos you are very kind and genuine people 🙏🙏 x x x

Hello Trevor, In the Church's year, Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day) is the last day before Lent. Ash Wednesday (the next day) is the start of Lent. Lent then continues for forty days until Easter. Ash Wednesday is so named as in ancient times, people put ash on their skin as a symbol of penance (hence the expression "sackcloth and ashes"). Kind regards Paul and Linda
Hi there 👋🏻👋🏻. Pat’s new glasses match the colour of her shirt perfectly 👍👍. Pat’s sisters dog sounds like our first dog lol, he was a wire hair-terrier mix,he’d hear the postman coming up the front steps. We had a brass mail slot about 2/3 of the way up the door and as soon as the mailman started to shove the mail through the slot Sandy would run down the hall and lunge at the door and tear the mail out of the slot and then run off with his treasure to his bed where he would sit and watch over it and make sure nobody tried to steal it. An occasional magazine cover got mutilated or a corner of an envelope with the stamp on it got chewed. 😄😄😄. Take care, stay safe, well and happy. Judy🇨🇦🇨🇦
I think if I remember right from my school days, Shrove Tuesday or pancake day, was the day you used up all your flour and food supplies before fasting for Lent. Something about Jesus fasting in the wild for forty days and nights. I don't do church at all, but it was drummed into me when I was at a Church of England primary school! I wasn't at all interested in Jesus but the pancakes were good!! As for Ash Wednesday I haven't a clue but when skipping in the playground we recited a rhyme - 'Ash wednesday, never let the rope go empty!' See you tomorrow, bye!!!
I am not familiar with Anglican customs Mary, so I never did know about Lent, but I liked the skipping poem, I can just see you waiting for the girl in front to leave the rope so you could follow her in.
If you want to do away with the window measure it up and go to Shipley Building Plastics, they will be able to cut you a piece of thin flexible PVC you could sikaflex over the top. Just make it about 4 inches bigger than the window.
Andy and Kim made the decal for the back of our van Susan, and when we were on a site in Lancashire with our anonymous friends we put the decal on the back of the van, but there were tiny bubbles which i pricked with a pin and rubbed them out.
