    Few things demand so much coordination and nerves of steel than ACTUALLY driving a dirt car, been in this for more that a decade.. love it, but local tracks need to focus on keeping the cost down, not rewarding the cars who spend the most $$$ , or no one can afford to go racing but the wealthy...just saying. Keep it going and thanks for the video !!

      If your track has a claim rule, start claiming. It will end high dollar motors at your track. It won't make you any friends, but who wants yuppies at a dirt track anyway?

      That’s called no headers and that’s when you cut the mufflers all the way to the engine and all you hear is the headers

    Get a go pro mounted on the side or the hood and do a "PIP" for that view too!

      I know I’m late, but I would assume it’s a 3 speed Saginaw transmission

      @@michaeldavis359 it’s a Saginaw. In order to move in a low gear with a Aftermarket transmission like a Bert. You have to push the clutch petal down.

  • @elizabethlass994
    @elizabethlass994 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you have to change gear while driving

    • @ryan14r95
      @ryan14r95 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @michaeldavis359

      @@ryan14r95 it also depends what you are running and it’s also one way to break the transmission and that would cost a lot of money to replace

    I am guessing that was hot laps on a muddy wet track. Also your steering wheel looks bent. May be my head is bent from hitting the wall all them years ago.

      It look like here is some play in the wheel, like it might not be sitting squarely on the shaft. At the beginning of the video you can see it moving some before he takes off
