Awesome! I am really happy with mine, and I recently bought a couple of water bottle holders, which look really good on the bike. Enjoy your purchase, and keep me updated on your ownership experience!
This type of hybrid bike is known as a fitness bike. It’s a hybrid without front shocks. A happy medium between a road bike and a hybrid for urban roads so that you can see above the roofs of cars in traffic while peddling quickly. Enjoy
Thanks for your comment, Bruce! I can't wait for nicer weather to get here so that I can ride it more. Even when these bicycles are standing still, though, I just love looking at them. They look so good.
@@GogoMotoring my pleasure. You will absolutely love it. Cannondale bicycles are respected all over the world. Take good care of it and be certain to buy a good lock because people know what they are.
Q5 is a nice bike in it's category. I have the 2019 and put more miles than I did with my previous bikes. 2019 has higher components like the hydraulic disc and Acera 3x9 setup and 32mm WTB slick tires. it's fast for a hybrid and the frame is fairy rigid. handle bar grip and the oem seat that came with the bike is surprisingly comfortable. I can ride many hours without a bike undershorts and save money not having to replace them. Acera groups set is surprisingly smooth/accurate shifting. this is a perfect bike for me when I am not out riding my new Tarmac.
Nice! Question for you. Do you find yourself having to pump up the tires every 2-3 weeks? If I haven't ridden mine for a while, I always need to pump up the tires to bring the pressure up to where it needs to be. Wondering whether this is typical or whether I have some issues with the tires.
@@GogoMotoring 2019 has the better WTB 32mm slick tire and I can go a month between needing air. with that note, my previous hybrid Giant with Kenda tires needed air every couple of weeks. I had the similar "two" week experience with my road bike tire on a Domane needing air when I had the continental gatorskin. but my new Tarmac road bike with Specialized ProTurbo, i can go a month between needing air. I have to assume "two" week is normal for some tires/tube combo? good practice is to check the air before each ride to ensure safe riding.
I'm considering buying a used 2019 Quick 5 for $420 - taken care of quite well. Think that's a good deal? choosing between that and a 2011 Giant Seek 2 that has barely been used for $350
Awesome, Nicola Nicola! How long will you have to wait to get it? The back orders on bicycles are months in some cases. Let me know what you think after you get it and take it for a spin. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more videos.
@@GogoMotoring Yeah I’d say I’m a VERY casual rider. So something comfortable, upright, and nice cool aesthetics lol. I’d be taking it through the city, light dirt pathways. Mainly just casual commuting to see nice views and for fitness. And yeah, the badboy looks cool! I was even considering the new Specialized Sirrus x 5.0 because the frame design is different but I’m sure that’s just a gimmick haha
I would try both to see which one fits your body better. The one I have is 6’4 and above actually, and it feels fine. I am 6’3 or 6’3.5. You want to focus on the top tube length. If it’s too long, you may feel like you are reaching too much, which could make your hands hurt after a while since you’ll be putting weight on your hands as you are stretching toward the handlebars.
hey so i’m no where near a store to pick up n i’m thinking of a online delivery if so do they deliver the bike in pieces or assembled already? haha i would it would come prepared since i’m paying 150 for delivery fees
I purchased mine from the store, so it was already assembled. I think the bike would be delivered in pieces and you would have to assemble it if it is not going through the store.
got myself a quick 5 too and your video was one of the reason I chose it!

@@GogoMotoring I received it quite quickly but I have not been out on it yet due to the snow and ice
If you had the money cannondale quick 5 or badboy 2? Dumb question but im new to the biking world and have a chance to pick up either or
Where do you plan to ride the bike and what are you hoping to accomplish with it? The Bad Boy looks cooler for sure.

I’m 6’3. Is there a big difference between the lg and xl?

What’s the weight?
It's about 26 pounds. It's very light. I was surprised how light it was when I first purchased the bicycle.
