Your running videos are awesome. You can tell you are genuinely having a great time running all of these cars/trucks in the Dec Drive all. Keep running!!
That’s good then Just like Joe said the gears are decent it’s the flex in the plastic housing that kills them. Ive held off on a 6. I’m going to scratch build one once there’s enough aftermarket
I think Vitavon needs to hire you to do their install videos; honestly that's the only thing they might be missing. I did spot I did my steering knuckles wrong; I put the metal inner shim on the wrong way. Couldn't figure out why there was so much play! Keep up the videos and the SCX6 content!
Yeah three brothers I got on pre-order well they were on back order for my early bronco so I am waiting on them it’s been two weeks I guess, But wow that’s a bad ass jeep I want one bad but that’s gonna be a while next summer maybe, appreciate your sharing Yep I am following
Have you considered grinding the stops a bit to get more steering angle? Seems these scx6 could use more steering angle but I don't hear many talking about it
Awesome video. Havent had any diff gear issues with vitavon housings myself either. But I do agree with you that goop they use in stock axles is amazing. Its some nasty stuff but it does a great job sticking to gears
Nice man. Still great to sea this beast holding up the abuse.. Body aldo chopped up..no cracks..and even with the stock axels and gears you pushed is hard...Vitavon is the way to go..but geus you shimming this thing when it was stock also helped the gears to keep up...supernice jumps and that jump-wheely was Epic in slowmo...
hey Exo, as always, love your videos. I am about ready to get the new Vitavon axels (front and rear) and I was curious, do they come with the upgraded Vitavon Ring and Pinion Gears or do I have to buy those separately? Thanks!
👍👍👍Hey, HORIZON HOBBY AXIAL, look at this! Now are the differentials are finite as they should be... RIGHT OUT THE FACTORY! And only now does the quality match the price, i think. 😉 What comes next?
@@patvirgin8822 axial covered mine under warranty but i never installed the replacements instead I bought the yeah racing spring steel shafts they have a sleeve that captures the pin and they were less than 40 bucks so far so good!
I appreciate how much time you dedicate to this awesome hobby!👍
I appreciate that!
Love the slow-mo of the body tweaking.
its spectacularly hilarious to watch that truck soar and just take the landings like the ground owes it $$
lol it does!!
It's always great to see your enthusiasm and joy!

I don't think those stock gears are powdered metal. They may not be as good a material as the upgrade but they look pretty high quality

This rig is bad ass. Love the body wave in slowmo.
I taped the vents from the inside on my front tires. Seems to help with roll, until the anti-foams come out.

Dude that was a awesome first jump
That jump made the jeep look like dirt dart

I would never jump mine like you jump yours. I’m steady breaking things still. I have no idea how you don’t break more stuff.
I get lucky sometimes
Not sure my 3d printed axles will handle a landing like that!! Those driveshafts are nice though might have to go for those
Oh yeah!
Yep I can see a 1/6 rock racer in your future!👍
when are you getting the vivaton beadlocks for this bad boy
So you have a part # for that sticky dif lube

Should I get vitavon front and rear axle with internals or without and use my stock internals ?? And what’s the difference please answer thanks
Seen vid now. Are both of your gears 12/43?
When you bought the new driveshafts. Is it $80 per piece or as a pair?
Thanks to Vitavon " Lawn Dart Approved"
LOL YEP!
Which vitavon gears should I get for my scx6 honcho ?

The housings are just the housings. No internal parts.
I wish somebody would make an open differential or oil-filled it would make it perform like a Rock racer
I need a set of drive shafts for my ryft
I gotta put in an order today. Want me to add a set?
@@ExocagedRC yes please

Imagine two of those Gens Ace 15000mah 3s batteries in parallel........
Very nice 👌 👍
Are vitavon axels compatible with Samix kuckles and Samix differential cover?
yes they are, stock components go on these so there shouldn't be any issues
@@ExocagedRC thank you for the response.
Vitavon should make underdrive
he has portals and will soon have those options
The pins on my front axles keep working there way out ,i tap them back in a couple times but seems like it's just getting worse
Have you found a solution yet, trying to help a buddy with his pins.

I've seen you turn the Capra and now the SCX6 into racer/bashers. I can't think of any other reason than you're bored of crawling. I hope I'm wrong.
Mind your ankles dude, thats a heavy car... 🤣
lol ankles? Knees!!!

Want to donate your stock ring and pinion gears to me? Lmao
Your driver needs a flight attendant for that much hang time.
