I have a Quality Street Tin leftover from last Christmas, air fare is a bit prohibitive for the refill. Christmas is No.1 Chocolate Holiday, then my birthday, Halloween, Easter, mother'sday, valentines day ....
Oh, I love all the London-y ornaments! That gold coach in the box was something. Getting ready for coronation? I really like the embroidered ones too. I need the dog sheets. My knees started aching when we looked over the side down at that tree! I'm getting worse with heights as I get older. It doesn't get me nauseated, just my knees and shins start to hurt! I'm wierd. So Gonks are gnomes? They are really getting crazy with the gnomes here in the US. Gnomes and pickup trucks with things in the back. We need to move on from these. LOL!
I'm a total sucker for the London ornaments - one year they had LOADS of street signs - they were amazing! Oh gosh, I'm sorry about your legs - if I go up high, I'll give you a warning next time...although I should be on the ground for the next few videos...THE CHRISTMAS LiGHTS ARE COMING! Yay! Yes, although I don't know why we call them Gonks, because at any other time of year, they are gnomes! Weird! I'm off to film another tomorrow :) So excited to hear about your upcoming trip - London will be looking lovely as all the lights will be glistening for your arrival! Hmm, there are a couple of snowglobes in each of the biggest department stores. I think I remember a few gorgeous ones at Liberty that might be your best bet. I'm very sure that Oxford Street John Lewis had a couple of fancy ones too :) Also, from experience, the shops of the major tourist attractions also have Christmas sections - they usually have amazing ones - try the Buckingham Palace Gift Shop on Palace Street, near Victoria Station or the one right by Westmibster Abbey. Both are lovely! I hope you find what you are looking for and have a truly wonderful trip! Qx
Toadstools really seem to be “a thing” this year for Christmas. Would love to know what the significance of toadstools/mushrooms are…..they’re adorable, but I think I just missed their connection to Christmas.🤷
