I love y'all so much:) I have to say I really missed the clogging but I never said anything because it's not my business. People have seasons in their lives. It's amazing that you could just jump in and do so much after so many years. Y'all are truly amazing!👯

My 4yr old great grand daughter is in dance. Right now its ballet & she loves it. I wanted to learn tap dancing when I was a kid, elementary school age, but my parents couldn't afford it.
No, I did not push my great grand daughter into dance. Her mother thought she would like it & that it would be a good way to get her socialized with other kids. She is also playing soccer. Well, they're not really playing, but at this age 4, they are learning how to play soccer. She enjoys it, but she loves dance much better. But when she turns 6, I'm going to introduce her to clogging. I think she would absolutely love that.

Oh I was happy to hear y'all decided already to get back into it more regularly. I WAS gonna suggest you do that (thinking ahead to someday when y'all have little ones and they'll see their mamas dancing), but THEN I remembered to never tell Katie what to do!!! LOLOLOL!!!! I guess Clogging is once you learn it it’s as easy as riding a bicycle “ OOPS” I’m sorry Corie I remember you saying you don’t know how to ride a bicycle unless that’s changed since you were very much younger😊 but I just loved watching you and Katie clogging ❤❤
My dil clogs. She is with the Buckshot team in Florida. She is amazing to watch. She has slowed down on the competitions now..she is in her 40’s. Great to watch! 🥰
That's some kind of aerobic work out, I was winded just watching. I use to know this old fisherman, in his 70s, he fished every morning, except for Sunday was church, and on Wednesdays and Saturdays he went home early to go square dancing with his wife. Maybe y'all could get Nick and Austin to fill out a dance team. Hey, I'd like to share a lesson I learned from that old man, Charlie, he had a great life outlook. One morning I saw him at the boat ramp. We would always exchange fishing information and general good mornings. So, this one morning he says, Hey, I caught 2 great big Snook yesterday. I said yesterday? Charlie, it was storming crazy when I got up, you went out in that stuff? He says, Look, for 36 years I drove heavy equipment back in New Jersey. Heat, rain, wind, sleet, freezing snow, THIRTY SIX YEARS! I went to work everyday. So what, now I'm gonna let weather stop me from having fun? Not a chance. 😂❤

Years ago on vacation in the North of England I was staying at a small hotel where one evening in the lounge they had some young girls from a dance school give a demonstration of Irish step dancing. It was very similar to clogging. Great job!

What you two do for us!!!! I love it! Thank you! You did excellent for not having clogged since 2016! You remembered your dance steps/routine very well! I don’t think after six years I would have remembered all of them like you did. Bravo!! I really love that you decided to do this. You are such a motivation for me. Dancing is good exercise. Who needs an expensive gym membership? Just turn the music on and teach yourself some routines. I have actually been looking at ballet classes. Not quite clogging - but dancing all the same!

When I was in elementary school (Valley Springs) in South Buncombe County we were taught Mountain Square dancing (as opposed to Western Square dancing).
Our teacher had been a semi- professional when she was coming along. She had a junior and a senior team who competed in competitions all over the place.
I sure wish we'd been taught to clog. My youngest learned clogging at Saluda school. Her principle had been on a clogginh team in college at Mars Hill.
