Your family has become my family! As a 58 year old widow with no children, the ability to turn to your channel and fill my home with conversation, shared meals, Thanksgiving, Christmas and everyday life is a real blessing. Many times I've thanked God for you and yours! My mother's side of the family was from Appalachia and brought many of the same ways to Louisiana. Thank you for your honest, loving and faith-filled influence, Tipper!
Prayers! My husband passed away about 6 months. I have children but am alone (but Jesus) much of the time. I feel the same way about Tipper and her channel. Better than TV! God bless and keep you!
What niche is your channel under, i have 3 different niche videos i want to start. Is there a way to find out which pays the most.@@CelebratingAppalachia
Tipper: Your blessings were our blessings too! Last month I met my favorite cousin and my sister in Myrtle Beach for a week. We try to get together for a week each year. I've told them about you for the last two years. I introduced them to your videos this year. They teased me and told me I talk about you as if you were my friend. I told them you are my friend! We have a whole community of friends!!! Thank you for what you do!!! ❤🎉
I have said it before, but I want to say it again. Tipper you & your sweet family are such a joy. Tipper ~thank you for making our Appalachia SHINE! ✨ 🙂 🙋 ❤ God bless you and family always.
Mom and I watched your videos together. We lost her on Feb. 10. Watching you today brings me such good memories with Mom. She used to say”Let’s watch your Appalachian videos.” She really enjoyed gardening and she likes those the most. Thank you for that. ❤
I am so sorry for your lose. Sounds like you and your Mom had a lot of fun together. Coming up on third year of loosing my Mom. She made it to her 96th birthday before the Lord welcomed her home. ❣️
I am 57, born and raised in Southern California. But...I grew up eating what you eat and saying the words you say. I've learned that my people came from England and settled in very northern Alabama. I had a "Mamaw" when everyone else had a grandma. I ate black eyed peas on New Year's Day. I thought collards smelled terrible but loved them with Picapeppa sauce. Thank you for helping connect me to my ancestry. I have sent a small donation so you will buy the ingredients to make another Pumpkin Roll for your family 😍. You bring me joy and inspiration daily Sheila.
Congratulations Tipper and family on 16 years. Tipper I am a retired 74 year old and because of some unexpected back pain I do not get out much. One of the blessings from that is that I found your channel and found so many familiar memories of my family. My grandparents my parents and the love of family and cooking and gardening. That is exactly how I grew up. I have lived in the Sandhills of North Carolina all my life and have always been a country girl. My grandparents killed hogs, milked cows, had a huge garden every year and always loved their church. I sometimes feel sad that so many things have changed and my grandchildren will not have those precious memories. But for me I will never forget and you and your beautiful family remind me all the time that there is good in this country. Thank you so much for your hard work and please keep up the good work. I feel like I am part of your family and that is why I watch you wonderful videos. Sending all my love and respect to you and your family.
Tipper, you and your family are such warm and beautiful people. You make everyone feel welcome. It's such a joy when you share your life with us, whether you're cooking a meal, sharing music, taking a walk, working in the garden, or just sitting around and talking with one another. You read to us, share your holidays with us, and make us feel like we're part of your family. You, Matt, Corie and Austin, Katie, Granny, Miss Cindy, Paul, and the little ones on the way. Even Olive and Binx. You're all loved and blessed, and we are richer for knowing all of you.Thank you so much.
Thank you for sharing your life with us. One of my pet peeves is how Hollywood invariably gives the uneducated, backward character a southern Appalachian accent. If they only knew how intelligent and hard working the people of Appalachia really are. I’m glad we have someone who is working to dispel that stereotype as well as show the joys of Appalachian life, which are many.
I wholeheartedly concur and am currently in the short rows of a book profiling some three dozen mountain characters from yesteryear. One of my overriding objectives is to portray high country folks, warts an all, as they really are. All the profiles deal with people who are dead, but collectively they counter the widespread stereotype. That's true of even the rascals, rogues, and renegades who are covered in one section of the book. Jim Casada
Congratulations Tipper and Matt! I love hearing about your journey, and God's hand is definitely on you and your dear family. May He continue to richly bless you all. ❤
Ive been watching you and your family for awhile now and feel privileged to finally know your internet history. You make me wish we were neighbors. I love your sensitivity and realness. You and the girls make me realize that the world can be good. So glad I saw Granny's birthday. You are truly BLESSED. God Bless you all.
See you on the next video. p.s. Tell Katie I wish her well and cant wait to see her little one. Dear God, please watch over Katie as she goes thru the birth of her precious miracle.
You did your YT journey just right. There are so many who rush, rush, rush and then start making a little money and quit their jobs only to find their channels fail to grow, become demonitized and they have no income because they were counting on YT to make them a living. I've seen many completely devastated YTubers crying because they couldn't maintain the quality of content needed to bring in the subs or have banked on subjects that are too controversial. Then they blame YT for that failure. Most of them had borrowed on their expectations and were bankrupted. I'm very happy that you and Matt and the girls (and Austin) are able to have a comfortable life by sharing it with others. You are a joy.
Tipper, I really am glad you stuck with your dream all those years and were blessed with the success of your channel! Your wholesome Appalachian family, fellowship, and normalcy are what this country so badly needs right now, and I thank God for bringing you into all of our lives. Yes, God is good, and he approves of Celebrating Appalachia! 😊
What a blessing you and your family are to so many of us. The pride of your heritage and sharing your techniques on living a simple life. It’s about finding joy in your blessings and working hard to help your family grow. Life is hard but God always shows us a way if we are listening. Thank you Tipper and Matt😊❤
You and your family are a gift to all of us and to TH-cam where it is difficult to find wholesome content at times! You all make us feel like a second family and it's just so special ♥️
Im a Nashville city girl now, but watching and listening to you, and learning from you, reminds me of life with my grandparents in southeastern Arkansas--cooking, gardening, making do, and so much more. Even some of your cookware reminds me of back then!
Such a dear, dear family and can't wait to see how much joy those grandbabies are going to bring❤ Love you all and prayers for easy baby deliveries!!!❤
Congratulations! Im so glad you found your new passions so you could give the rest of us so much joy and love and wisdom! Here's to 16 more! Thank you! 💞
Hi Tipper, I am so Grateful for your Celebrating Appalchia channel and the wonderful accomplishments of the Blind Pig and getting the Appie Award for the blog. I consider You and The Family as My own Family and Pray for All of You! God has indeed been a Blessing for You in so many ways and I Pray that God will continue to Bless You and your Family in All You do.😊❤🎉🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Congratulations on 16 years! You are so humble and such a wonderful example of a fine Christian. Your channel as well as the girls channel has helped me through some tough/rough patches. I thank God for leading me to your channel. It's so comforting to watch you and your family cooking, gardening, hiking playing music or just visiting, I feel like I'm there too. This old world is crazy right now, but you are such a blessing. Thank you! I pray for all of you and especially right now for Katie and her little bit for a safe and easy delivery.
You, my dear GF, have most definitely worked hard for what you have and truly deserve every good thing coming your way. You stay grounded and are so humble. Wish more women were like you. I would be proud to have a friend like you. BTW…I really like your laugh when you get tickled about something. 😊 Just saying. Please tell Katie to go on to the hospital already…I can’t wait to see the baby!!! Hugs! ✌️🙋🏻♀️❤️
I watch a lot of utube since we got rid of our tv. I watch a lot of the political to find out what’s going on in the world, I watch a lot of Bible and end times prophecy videos etc. there’s a lot of negative stuff out there. I always come back to your channel to calm me and settle me down. I adore your family, youve helped me put in my first garden and much was a success, I plant a lot of the same stuff you do so I could watch you and Matt and learn. I also watch your girls. Such sweet young women and Godly women. Such wholesome uplifting content. Thank you all for what you’ve done to help all of us. Also you and Matt are an example of how a couple of married people are supposed to enjoy each other. I get so tickled at Matt and I can see that he adores you. What most wouldn’t give for that. It ought to be a requirement for young people to watch you and see what a wonderful marriage looks like. Lots of hard work and popsicles. 🤣
Tipper, I’m so glad you listened to the Lord. You and your family has been a blessing to me. I have learned so much. Congratulations on 16 yrs! ❤️😊Regina
I have enjoyed every minute of all of you!!! Matt has done an amazing job on those garden beds!!!! Thank you for drawing us all in to your lives!!! You make it easy to watch you and enjoy your life style!!! God is so good! Love your family!!!!!
Congratulations on 16 years of a Blind Pig and the Acorn. It's a wonderful blog and I have enjoyed reading the stories. The blog and your family's TH-cam channels are a rich legacy to be cherished and enjoyed by generations of your family to come and also by us the viewers. Thank you for sharing your life. May your life continue to be blessed. Cheers!
I live in the Tennessee Valley and like you I love my Valley wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. I always say I was raised here in the Valley but grew up in Wisconsin when my family moved there for my dad’s work. I stayed for 31 years but when my husband got killed I came home. I always say there is no green like the green of here in Tennessee.
Couldn’t imagine TH-cam without your Celebrating Appalachia channel. You deserve the success you are now enjoying because of all the hard work you’ve put into it. We feel like part of y’all’s family for sure as we have met y’all in person multiple times and know that you and your family are GENUINE people on camera and in person. Not many folks on here can say they’ve put their feet under your table and enjoyed some of your fine southern cooking like Robbie Lynn & I have!!!! Thanks for sharing this video and for what y’all do to make TH-cam a happy place for so many people!! Praying for you all. 🙌🏻🙏🏻😇❤️
I’ve been watching for a few years now and i enjoy you guys so much. I live just outside NYC In the suburbs. I am a chef to wealthy people and my husband is in law enforcement in an urban area. I just love your content, your food, your garden, your family, it’s all good. I feel relaxed and happy when I watch your videos, so thank you and carry on 🎉
Glad you stepped out on Faith and minded the Lord on getting on TH-cam. My husband pastors here in Easley, SC. After 20 years of him working for a company,, he took a teaching job at our high school career center. It was tough at first but we knew God would take care of us for obeying him. We have never went without and God has opened doors beyond belief. We are thankful for your faithfulness to the Lord and for having the opportunity to getting to find y’all on TH-cam. We met you and Corie at the book signing and enjoyed our time talking to y’all. God bless you and your family.
Superb video Tipper. Thankyou. Since my wonderful husband passed away, my iPad and TH-cam mean so much. My life was so similar to yours but now I can visit anywhere in my armchair! Lots of love to you all with wonderful times ahead. 🇬🇧🥰
Here is my take. God used a good southern women and gave her a platform. The fruits appear, you have gave comfort and solace to many that need a few minutes of peace. Thank you, god bless you and yours…
Miss Tipper, you are a wonderful speaker. It takes a true talent to hold people's attention. Thank you for sharing your family and your life as a hill women. Love from Ohio. ♡
Your genuine goodness shines through on all of your videos. Thank you for sharing your family, your recipes and your love of Appalachia with all of us. 🎉❤
What a fabulous success story❤ I have had jobs too, that I couldn’t believe I was getting paid to have so much fun. Thank you for being here on You Tube, and so dang close to our back yard, it feels even more special. ❤
I can't believe that I've been watching you for four years! I found you at the beginning of the pandemic while I lived in Tennessee. You all feel like family to me. I'm so happy that this format has been good to you.
Your vlog has to be one of the most wholesome and genuine on the whole of youtube. Very well done, Tipper - you are a wonderful storyteller (I'm a regular watcher from New Zealand)
We found your blog right after we bought our vacation cabin in 2008. We were so happy to find you I remember finding the first event in Young Harris we saw the Blind Pig and the Acorn, the girl were clogging and the music was amazing. Pap was there and we loved the group. The next event was in Blairsville on the square. I really miss these events. But, most of all we enjoyed finding out about the area we planned to eventually be our home. I love it here
I enjoy your music & all the history of the area. My grandpa grew up in TN. & Kentucky. My grandpa lived until he was 110. He was Scotch Irish. He was born in 1851. He told us that they traveled by covered wagon. I'm just so happy that I found you on TH-cam. I enjoy watching your family. I enjoyed watching granny's Birthday, Kaity's baby shower too. I pray granny's is doing ok. I'm eager to see Kaity's baby boy when he arrives. Thank you for such a wonderful Christian blog. God Bless You All.🌷🌿🌻🙂
Ms. Tipper, oh how I enjoyed this video. You were forthcoming, honest, and unpretentious. Have you any idea the number of times you referred to God's grace and mercy? In the sum of it all, Gods love for each and every one of us is beyond comprehension. Then there are your amazing and lovely daughters, Corie and Katie. May God continue to bless you 🤗
Happy Birthday to the Blind Pig! That still small voice is sometimes easy to miss if we aren't paying close attention. So very glad you were paying attention, for your benefit and ours too. :)
Tipper you deserve all the Blessings that you have received. Isn’t it just so wonderful when you realize that God was right by your side all through the years ❤ I so enjoy your channel and seeing your girls and Matt and I do so love your sweet precious mama would love to see more of her and I love it when Paul sits with her to sing a song. Keep on Keeping on Tipper love you all ♥️ God’s Blessings 🙏🙏
So thankful that the Lord led me to your channel and that of your sweet girls. After losing my mom a few years ago these channels have been therapeutic for me. With my family coming from NC I feel like I'm reconnecting with my roots. Thank you to you and your beautiful family. ❤
Tipper, you and your family are such a blessing to so so many of us, and I thank you. I have a hard time putting how I really feel into words, so forgive me. Just know, y'all have gotten me through some rough days. Thank you and God Bless all of you.
16 yrs is a long time. I was living in a different city and province & starting a new job. Lots has happened since 2008. Lots of family members have been promoted to heaven.
Thanks for sharing your journey. I teared up with you!! 💯 the hand of God was involved. You worked very hard over the past 16 years for your success, and I'm very proud and happy for you. You're an awesome gal, mom, wife, daughter, sister, mom, and friend. Enjoy your succe$$. You earned it! 😊 💕
Tipper, you & Matt are a wonderful Christian example in every area of your life. I have learned so much from watching you garden and cook. What a blessing & inspiration you both are to teach that kindness, love and prayers are the tools to a successful family and life. ❤🙏
I wish us watchers could make videos telling how finding you here on TH-cam has changed our lives. For me you reading to us, showing us new recipes, having two children that themselves have showed us how to make jewelry and soap, a son in law that shows how to shoot a bow, and you having a good looking hubby you garden with is for an old lady like me a real treat to share time with you and yours.Happy Anniversary to the Blind Pig and Acorn and God Bless You and Yours Tipper for creating your wonderful family channel.
I found you in 2022 and I loved you from the first video. I remember finishing it and going back to binge watch every video you had posted. My husband and I look forward to your videos. Y’all remind us so much of ourselves. From you, we went right over to the girls channels and we love them too.
Tipper, you guys are a joy to listen to and an absolute treasure to we who listen to you. It's like I'm turning in to listen to old friends when I do. I just love the whole family, and I wish you all Gods continued blessing. ❤❤❤. God bless all here.
Tipper the pleasure is all ours watching your family life in that beautiful neck of the woods, everything benefit that comes your way is totally deserved.
See, just like this video is why folks want to watch Celebrating Appalachia. Your honesty, charisma, inspiration, devotion to Appalachia culture is the crust of the channel. The content is true to the Appalachian culture. You have shared the culture in a way that your followers have fallen in love with it. I can't wait for the day when you the milestone of 1 million subscribers. I am so thankful I found this channel as it has helped me view life with different perspective. Once again, thanks for sharing!
I feel like we're the ones blessed to be able to have your family share your lives with us. I too love Appalachia and I love your family and everything you all share . Thank y'all ❤
I am so thankful for your videos both right here on Celebrating Appalachia and on your Blind Pig & the Acorn channel. Your family’s music is so good and I get to see your family from way back then. So glad that you have your ‘home movie’ videos with Pap - what a pleasure being able to see and hear your father and mother. My parents never wanted to be videotaped- so I do not have their voices recorded anywhere. I can only recollect their voices in my mind. You are surely blessed to have them on tape.
Miss Tipper thank you so much for sharing your life through this video. I felt like we were sitting at the kitchen table and having a delightful conversation ❤
I remember when I first came across this channel, I was so excited to find a wonderful God fearing family to watch! Also, you have taught me so much about life and being a wonderful wife! Thank you for following our Heavenly Father’s plan for your families life❤
I’m thankful for your channel. I watch often and many times I have you on at supper. I was widowed 6 months ago and I feel I’m not alone when I watch your channel. I’ve lived in Florida for many years but grew up in North Carolina. I spent a lot of time with my grandparents and their lives was the same as in your area. 😊
Love the way you got into this business! I have listened before. Love your family. Pray you and family continue. I feel like you are my family too. If we never meet here on this earth we will be with our Heavenly Father some day for ever.
God bless you & your family!! Born in NC & grew up in East TN!!! Strong attachment & love for the south & Appalachia!!! Thanks for all y’all share!!! ❤❤
Your family's sweetness, the love, the very hard work, the music, the language, the creeksand trees , the food and celebrations there's SOmuch I love and appreciate about watching your beautiful family. Ate age of 77, I've moved here from a lifetime in California, to follow our children and grand babes. Appalachian culture is very new to me, but I'M so grateful to learn the language and hear the tunes, to be introduced to the woods and the gardens, to share weather and the wild life ("oops! there go the deer alarms again"). You're all so beautiful, certainly a family, but each of you is different in your own ways, too. Thank you for sharing your lives, they've softened the impact of our uprooting. Living a brand new place is an adjustment, you all have been a sweet balm for my soul.

Thank you so much!!
Hugs! ✌️🙋🏻♀️❤️
I'm so happy this worked out for y'all. I consider y'all family.
So glad that sharing your way of life along with your heritage has enhanced your quality of life in every way. Everyone benefits including me❤
So blessed the day we found your channel❤. Keep up the amazing work you do, making all of us feel like we are part of your sweet family.
Thank you so much!
God is good to those who love him and you do have a heart for our Lord. You are a blessing to us all!
You are so kind! Thank you 😊
Tipper, I’m so glad you listened to the Lord.
I'm so sorry you lost him. I admire your close ties and sense of place!!
I live in the Tennessee valley also..great place!
We love you Tipper and Matt .can't wait for the babies to arrive.
We are so glad to have you and Robbie Lynn as friends!! Thank you!
I’ve been watching for a few years now and i enjoy you guys so much. I live just outside NYC In the suburbs. I am a chef to wealthy people and my husband is in law enforcement in an urban area. I just love your content, your food, your garden, your family, it’s all good. I feel relaxed and happy when I watch your videos, so thank you and carry on 🎉
Thank you so much 😊
Glad you stepped out on Faith and minded the Lord on getting on TH-cam.

I love it here
We appreciate you so much Sheryl!!
I enjoyed watching granny's Birthday,
Kaity's baby shower too. I pray granny's is doing ok.
I'm eager to see Kaity's baby boy when he arrives.
Thank you for such a wonderful
Christian blog.

You are too kind-thank you 😊
I wish us watchers could make videos telling how finding you here on TH-cam has changed our lives. For me you reading to us, showing us new recipes, having two children that themselves have showed us how to make jewelry and soap, a son in law that shows how to shoot a bow, and you having a good looking hubby you garden with is for an old lady like me a real treat to share time with you and yours.Happy Anniversary to the Blind Pig and Acorn and God Bless You and Yours Tipper for creating your wonderful family channel.
thank you Ann!!
What an amazing life, you are blessed ❤
I found you in 2022 and I loved you from the first video. I remember finishing it and going back to binge watch every video you had posted. My husband and I look forward to your videos. Y’all remind us so much of ourselves. From you, we went right over to the girls channels and we love them too.

You are so welcome!
I remember when I first came across this channel, I was so excited to find a wonderful God fearing family to watch! Also, you have taught me so much about life and being a wonderful wife! Thank you for following our Heavenly Father’s plan for your families life❤
Thank you and your family for being yourselves… May God continue to bless you!
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much 😊
What a beautiful testimony of Gods goodness and the blessings in your life!
Wonderful to see the hand of God in this beautiful woman's life.
