Finally found a speedrun with commentary, awesome and it's crazy how fast it can be done as my 1st playthrough i played which was blind and was playing slow and taking my time to enjoy it more. I think it took around 9-12 hours and that was to 100% the game (achievements etc..) and i think people was saying around its around the 15-20+ hour mark, not sure if i got lucky as well picking the talents/abilities/unlocks and now i started a fresh 1 and went slow again and took my time and only took me about an hour or 2 :D lol,
I'm trying to decide the value of selling gems early to open up more map. Yes, they are important later, but the early slingshot they could afford might be worth while. Also, ignoring most of the set pieces/quests seems like a mistake. Isn't the big chest from the rainbow island always a free level up? Lastly, there's a ton of time spent going to the market and back, selling a few almost worthless items, and then continuing on. Considering you gain no experience while you are going back and forth, spending a level to get the 4 extra inven slots early may work its way out. I know that I go a lot faster when inventory space is not a worry.
I can't finish the "build on all water spaces" achievement. I think the landfill doesn't count or its some other problem. Is this going to be fixed? I really preferred it when this wasn't an achievement and you could keep building more space beyond the map to work with for markets, industry, and storage and use all the land space for digging/farming/resources. I've got all other achievements. I guess it might be it's just too much and the game would crash with a bigger world size though.
Landfills do work for this, you might be missing a spot behind some buildings or something. I actually completed this achievement with one missing space still, so you may be missing a few.
Is inventory space a necessity for the speedrun? Even though upping the foraging side might seem like a waste, I found it pretty difficult to keep up with everything that wasn't in my backpack and the four extra slots was reasonably helpful and wheat a decent sell
I've experimented using the Foraging skill to get more cotton but never tried getting the + inventory space skill. The inventory space limits are super annoying, but I feel like the payoff isn't there.
So a couple things I've noticed. 1, as Jonas mentioned, when your energy runs out you get about 33% of a bar at the cost of 1 heart. 2, you can actually continue to mine/do things that use energy while at '0' energy for a few uses. 3, a fairy, once unlocked, can grant you about 60% energy "and" 2 hearts back. 4, when you enter the level up window you can gain energy back even without spending th3 skill point(s) you have earned.
@@shichi1867 Yeah I am aware but like he doesn't sound motivated... almost depressed and then there are times he is drowned out by game audio... I would say the run is good the quality isn't to hot! Not tying to be a ass but as a speedrunner as well.. He sounds all bummed out! which kind of kills some of it!
I really enjoy the game, that's just the way my voice sounds. One guy at work always thinks I'm being sarcastic when I say I like something because my voice is so flat :p

What you could improve on is using Q and E when you go into your inventory to cut some time. Mouse seems very slow. But maybe that's just me.
My mouse is bad and I'm bad at using it, I should try this out.

Why does everyone who plays this game not pay attention to there hunger?
Why should i it just takes a heart away and gives Hunger back and later on you dont even lose a heart anymore
