i really like the 100% videos more than the 100 days ones (though i very much still enjoyed your 100 days videos and re-watch them from time to time), it feels like there's less pressure for you to finish things before the 100 days are up, and i think it allows for more variety in the games you can play.
Yeah for sure, for games like this and Dave the Diver that can be 100% completed in about 30 hours it's the right way to go I've realised. The 100 day mark is arbitrary and can end the video in an awkward spot, also it means the goals aren't as clear for the story of the video so it's maybe less interesting to follow along. But for games where you can play hundreds and hundreds of days I'm sure I'll revisit the 100 days format.
@@FloydsonYT to be honest, when you get to day 100 and you just make another x days to complete it was fine too. For example with the graveyard video!
@@Mar_Ten thanks for saying that! Definitely don't wanna spend TOO much time on one video, cos then I won't get them out regularly enough. But also don't wanna cut corners on quality. 100 days videos will definitely be perfect for series though, like the GYK 300.
@@FloydsonYT what you're doing rn (a mix and match between 100% and 100d) is perfect! This 100% gave me such satisfaction to watch but I agree some games the day counter makes more sense like dst (still waiting on more dst btw)
@@FloydsonYT I really like the 'movies' - 200 days and 300 days videos, but these ones are great too! I think it depends on the game and you have a good grasp of what is going to work for each game you've played
I 100%ed this game a few years ago, genuinely the most addictive completion of any game I've ever played

If any of you haven't played this game I need you to understand how insane this video actually is. I've played one save for like 22 hours and I didn't even get halfway to completing it. Probably a quarter or less. Floydson you're crazy!

Sounds about right. I 100%ed it in about 55 hours a couple of years ago.

Took me a little under 32 hours. I think it depends a lot on which route you take with your skill points. A lot of them are completely useless and you'd have no idea until you already spent your point.

3 for last Doing a normal run but NOT buying any island ever
1 island in vannila is much harder than "1 island gamemode"
Becouse biome specific items do not spawn, animals that give leather do not spawn aswell
well there is not Really an "End" to this game but I think reaching the late game, nuclears and stuff is the end

It’s a fun game if you like Minecraft/Terria or Zelda. The end game is kind of dull tho & the frame rate can drop a ton if you have a lot of Droids & buy all the land. I beat it 100% & the last 99% was a chore.

I honestly can’t describe how much I appreciate this type of video. I just came from your Dave the diver video as well, absolute banger. But I love how this is a 100% video and not a 100 days video. I know these types of videos take longer but damn dude I love them. By far my favorite content creator. Your commentating and your humor just make me forget I’m watching an hour+ long video. I love Forager because of the fact each play through you do is completely random. All structures are found randomly you don't get them the same way in your last playthrough you do.

i dont have much to sat about floyd soothing voice, funny commentary and just really enjoyable to watch while just relaxing im just hooked on every content he's put out. I hope more of these come out especially survival or rpg type of games like forager

I got the game after seeing the first 5 minutes here and I'll say it's a very flash in the pan kinda game.
A million rough edges, horrendous controller functionality, incredibly annoying bugs, bad automation etc. It holds your interest as you're expanding, but the more you play the more you notice how much it needed like half a year more of development and playtesting.
I'm so glad I'm not going for achievements, because on controller you can essentially just not place landfill (the aiming reticle only works when you're moving and stays on the thing you're aiming at like 1 frame) and when you're placing bridges, sometimes it just bugs out the tile and places it halfway in another tile.
I love this game. It's a huge grindfest but it's done in a way that you always feel good about your progression. The dopamine hits just keep coming.
28:00 so, I’m watching this (w headphones) while playing stardew valley really late at night with my partner asleep next to me, and when this music started playing I suddenly panicked thinking my steam deck had its volume up and I hadn’t noticed for a while bc of my headphones. I had to pause it just to make sure I wasn’t completely disturbing my partner’s sleep at 4 am lol

Finding these 100% much more enjoyable as it feels like your having more fun in them as you dont have a time constraint of the limited to 100 days format and instead can play in your own pace. Keep em going man!

Did you know in the earlier versions of forager you actually plucked berries from bushes without destroying them and the swords (pre cosmic) could break resources making them over powered
Not as overpowered as the lightning rod right? Best breaking and fighting tool in the current version of the game imo

Was eyeing this game for a while, watched this pretty much the day before I got it. Played it and I've got to say this is in my top 10 games of all time, one of the most fun sunflowers I've played. I didn't expect it to be so fun since it was a single player and not many interest me. But this was the holy grail of sunflowers for me, it's in my top 3 sunflowers ever played. It's a long game too, and anytime I was demotivated to keep playing (it drags out a bit at the end) I would just watch this and immediately wanna play. I've almost beat the game fully (89 out of 103 feats) and I'm still loving it. Thank you Floydson, and thank you Forever for curing my boredom.

Man I love how easy to understand and enjoy Floydson's videos, simple guy with a simple game. AFAIK, the carpentry station's paths (and any other thing that takes up a grid slot but has no active collision) are actually useful for cleaning the place up by preventing stuff from popping up and getting in the way
