I am such a huge mood reader - I have an entire list on GoodReads dedicated to books that I have "DNF for now" - or as you as say, soft DNF. Never feel bad about choosing to prioritize books that you enjoy - even in a challenge.
pet semetary was my first stephen king read and left me thinking about it almost a year later - so many questions left unanswered but i really enjoyed it. so so different from my usual reads also you both compliment each other so well ! came across your channel randomly, it's so cute and sweet !!

No way am I ever going to read thar Stephen King book. A friend recommended it when I was about 15, I tried It instead. DNFed that one. Ask Ian about The Talisman, you may enjoy that one.

I tried but OMG I was soooo lost and DNF’d it about 40% in….I felt so stupid lol I just couldn’t understand his writing style in this book so I haven’t picked up another one since….Would love to hear Ian’s thoughts on that book if he’s read it!
