We just got off of Navigator of the Seas. 653 passengers on a 4000 passenger ship! We had a great time tho the energy from a full audience is definitely missed. All protocols followed by everyone. Can't wait to cruise in May!

WOW! We honeymooned on Freedom of the Seas in 2015. NOTHING was on Coco Cay. Had to ferry over. Just a beach, some makeshift bars (only one drink available and only to drink package holders) and a lunch pavilion that was free to everyone- cook out type food, hamburgers, hot dogs, and Caribbean specialties. It was super nice, super simple, and we didn't have to worry about paying for anything. I thought the slides and everything looked cool until you said $100 a person lol!
Ben, I applaud you for moving tables at breakfast. I work as a nurse and currently caring for covid patients and it’s no joke how fast it’s spreading. Even with masks on and your too close to someone you can get it. As that’s unfortunately what happened to myself and my co worker. So proud to see what you did. Thank you. ❤️

Another hit. Thanks for another good one. I go to a carnival twice a year where I went to grade school and every time me and my mom get a candy apple and a powder auger covered funnel cake. They are like a giant donut; you’re right! My mom and I love them. Stay well.
The prices of everything on the island are ridiculous. It’s all RCCL anyway - to charge $100 per person for a small water park with about 3 slides is a joke. Can get into Volcano bay for less than that

On your next visit to Coco Cay I strongly recommend that you do the Coco Beach club especially if you have the drink package. The food is outstanding and it's an idyllic atmosphere.

Funnel Cake is basically our carnival food. I haven’t made it in a while but it’s one of my favorite desserts/snacks. 🥰 I can’t wait to book a trip on the Odyssey. I love the Oasis so I’m excited to go on this one.
Loving your Vlogs Ben & David sooo fun to watch, though we are so jealous watching them from here in Brisbane, Australia. We can only watch on at the moment in antisipation to when we can leave our shores to cruise or even holiday again. In 2015 we were on "Quantum of the Seas" out of New York on an 11 night cruise to the Carrabean we had the best time ever as a family, now our two boys are adult men & waiting to see the world for themselves, how time has flown & the disruption this Pandemic has caused to all of us. We cannot wait to return to Royal Caribbean on any ship really though I prefer Quantum class as I find Oasis class ships way to big just my choice, though my wife wants to try the now new current biggest ship in the world & fleet the brand new "Wonder of the Seas" but for now, for us, just to get back to cruising again is a dream we can hopefully soon look forward to again. Caribbean again definately & on "Odyssey of the Seas" hopefully, beautiful ship & Coco Cay looks very nice also. Keep up the great work guys & keep our mouths watering & eys running with your funny humour on your cruise adventures, loving it 😂 . Take care & stay safe 🙌😎
I am just off the Mariner of the seas this Friday. We went to the Cocoa Beach Club… it was wonderful and we paid 140 per person and worth it for the very quiet place and lobster and huge prawns included. Service to the beach was spectacular😊

During the Christmas holidays, they had most of their items 50% off. It might’ve been a black Friday type of deal. But I’ve also seen it go 25% to 35% off before the cruise.

been a bunch of times - moved out of florida 2020 into arizona. life is good - 85+ cruises around the world 100s of countries and destinations. but will not travel via cruise again for or until things drastically change. i can easily go around the world (and i did in september) 6 countries 3 weeks with no issue. oh well. guys enjoy!
Well, when my parents and I went on Odyssey, we got to go to Coco Cay. It was nice. When we had the back side room and my own bedroom, we could see them backing in and leaving Coco Cay after we rembarked the ship. It was fun. I wonder why they won't let people go there now.
With with all the cruises you both have taken I was surprised to see that you had never been to Coco Cay! I was there for the first time this past December and I had a BLAST on the water slides and beach!!! Fantastic!!! Odyssey looks great and a bit different than the others! Continue to enjoy! ⚓️
We got off the Oasis on January 23-30. We had a truly PERFECT DAY at Coco Coco Cay on January 24th. 75 degree low humidity was great. We had 2700 passengers with only depending on source none to 3 crew with positive tests. Great cruise.
Hey guys just catching up on some of your vlogs from the recent past. Just got off independence of the seas out of port Canaveral which included a visit to perfect day at Coco cay. We had a wonderful time. We did pay the up charge for the full day at Coco Beach club and It was fabulous. The lunch was the best food we had on the entire cruise, having drinks at the beach and in the infinity pool was awesome. We were sailing on a full cruise 4000+ so the limited 200 person capacity at the Coco Beach club was spectacular.
It's about a 3 to 5 minute walk unless you stop and take pictures. Once you get there, just walk around and take your time. There are of course food places and beaches. Just don't walk too far because it is hot! I usually eat and then find a shade spot to sit and read a little. I have been to Coco Cay several times and also had a tour with the travel agency for our agent training. I've seen enough. Have fun.

@@Cruisewith That is what I figured to be the case... and why I wanted to make sure to comment about it so you guys know that, yes, there are people out there noticing those kinds of details. Audio, especially, is something that the more the viewers are able to just take for granted how great it sounds the more hard work went in to making that so. Especially with the on location shots. There are several very good cruise channels that I watch, and each is great in its own way, but I personally can't think of another that creates the production quality of on location that you guys do. (Unless they just sprinkle in some professionally shot stock footage shots :-)
Ahoy there! I understand, is not your fault. The Thrill Waterpark was too expensive for 2 hours. I agree 100% with you, Royal Caribbean should let you buy the half day Waterpark pass.
Looks fantastic there - while we have -20 c here near Toronto - if you try funnel cake again add some vanilla soft serve ice cream and strawberries or strawberry sauce.
We were on the Navigator of the Seas earlier in January. A ship only 25% full. Our first MDR table was within 2 feet of others. We asked to get moved and were able to get 5 feet from others. Of course the "others" were coughing including some that coughed pretty badly. So we asked to move again. There was way too much coughing on the ship. We are boosted and luckily didn't catch Covid on the ship. We have been super careful. But it was way too scary. Even sitting listening to music in the bars we were the only ones with masks. And those areas have even closer seating than the MDR.
Looks like you really love the 80' in January....I m from Germany and completely understand. Going on my First ever cruise in a couple of days and been packed for weeks. Watching those clips gets me So motivated, thank you very much for the uplift
It has been nearly 3 years and several Odessey cancelations/delays. Hoping crusing will open up and become less restrictive and back to normal for (hopefully) our June 2022 cruise and return to Perfect Day.

It is fantastic that you had a great time, but it does feel like the cruise line is gaming the system by juggling staff to make the ship appear legal for docking.
Coco Cay is a cash cow for Royal. I have to say you guys picked a perfect time to go since there are so few people, that makes it a Perfect Day at Coco Cay. Hamack chairs are a pain in the ass and really are not comfortable, it's like sitting on a waffle grill. Great start to your cruise.
American funnel cakes have loads of powder sugar an or fruit on top or chocolate if you want..we only get them at carnival it's hard to find in the USA unless your at a amusement park or carnival or fair

I love the beach barbecue on Princess Cay to be the BEST meal of the entire cruise. The BBQ ribs are AMAZING.

We were on the Navigator of the Seas earlier in January. A ship only 25% full. Our first MDR table was within 2 feet of others. We asked to get moved and were able to get 5 feet from others. Of course the "others" were coughing including some that coughed pretty badly. So we asked to move again. There was way too much coughing on the ship. We are boosted and luckily didn't catch Covid on the ship. We have been super careful. But it was way too scary. Even sitting listening to music in the bars we were the only ones with masks. And those areas have even closer seating than the MDR.
Funnel cake is popular in the USA at State Fairs in the summer.
They are probably sitting people close in the dining room because of low staffing numbers due to the outbreak with the staff.
Looks like you really love the 80' in January....I m from Germany and completely understand. Going on my First ever cruise in a couple of days and been packed for weeks. Watching those clips gets me So motivated, thank you very much for the uplift

It has been nearly 3 years and several Odessey cancelations/delays. Hoping crusing will open up and become less restrictive and back to normal for (hopefully) our June 2022 cruise and return to Perfect Day.

We booked our first ever cruise a couple of years ago then covid struck and it was cancelled. You guys have given such wonderful insight into cruising and what to expect (especially food and cabins) that booking again in the future will be less daunting. Thankyou xx

Coco Cay is a cash cow for Royal. I have to say you guys picked a perfect time to go since there are so few people, that makes it a Perfect Day at Coco Cay. Hamack chairs are a pain in the ass and really are not comfortable, it's like sitting on a waffle grill. Great start to your cruise.
American funnel cakes have loads of powder sugar an or fruit on top or chocolate if you want..we only get them at carnival it's hard to find in the USA unless your at a amusement park or carnival or fair
