Wow, that Emeril's experience really was subpar. It's a recipe for disaster if there's only two servers present to look after an entire restaurant, and it's not the servers' fault!

So sorry you had that type of rudeness. I unfortunately called a couple years ago friends and they started that type of rude acting. I stood up grabbed my wife’s hand and told them please excuse us we are not on the same wavelength as you all are. Our old friend started yelling at us and my wife looked at me and told me. Good choice I never liked them anyway. Now that I look back about them they had been quite rude over the years. I just ignored it until that evening when they offended everyone. Two other couples at our table left them after we had left. The offending couple still to this day think they were wronged. As Mr Gump stated. Stupid is as Stupid does. Bless you two and we look forward meeting you two one day in the future. ❤

Usually, it is the booze that does it. I live in Las Vegas that type of behavior is very common here, both on the Strip and away where normal locals go eat. These days we eat at home or with friends at our house or their place. Some people have no manners.

I could swear that when we started cruising in 2004 several cruise lines offered “cruises to nowhere”. They were shorter cruises (3-5 days) but the ship would just go out and wander about. I wish that Royal Caribbean would do that out of Port Canaveral because sometimes I pick a cruise based on how many sea days it has. The more the merrier! 😀 Sorry about the morons at the MDR table next to you. I think the maitre d AND a security guard should have at least asked them to tone it down or face expulsion. Thanks for your very hard work putting these wonderful videos together. I look forward to them every Sunday! ❤️

We did our first TA last year and decided it's the way to go from now on. We loved the 8 days at sea to fully unwind before hitting Europe and there was no overnight flight/jet lag to get there. The only benefit in E to W I think is you get 6 hours extra on the cruise with the time changes (and you lose 6 going W to E).

Ha ha! We are Viking cruisers too. Definitely we and our friends do make references to rude passengers as Carnival people. done transatlantic 3 times. No great problems though the last time was choppy. Having previously gone across Bay of Biscay in really rough weather we learned that spending more time in bed really paid dividends. Our first transatlantic we had two choices, on P&O to Southampton via Bay of Biscay or on Marella to Malaga. The choice was made easier because with Marella we could fly back to Birmingham as opposed to getting back for Southampton and then to the a departure airport. A double bonus.

7 days at sea may seem like a long period to some but in comparison, the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier was deployed for 321 days during 2020-2021. What makes this deployment especially notable is that Nimitz spent more than 10 months at sea WITHOUT any port calls due to the worldwide pandemic. This deployment by Nimitz was the longest deployment by a US Navy warship since the USS Coral Sea did 329 days (which included port calls) in 1964-1965 during the Vietnam war era. Long deployments for Sailors are routine and are expected during our tenure but I salute the entire crew of Nimitz for such an extraordinary accomplishment. Bravo Zulu.
I enjoy your videos because you have an excellent mix of information, scenery, and humor while presenting your travel experiences. Be well and keep the content coming. Thank you.

As much as I like my cabin stewards I would really rather not have them have to come in and move things around in my cabin. We have just done a transatlantic crossing from Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona, on board Cunard Queen Elizabeth, honestly boys don’t bother with this one, unless you are 80 odd you will be filing your nails on all the sea days, so boring.
I thought the Cunard line was a little more upmarket but definitely not worth the money spent, very poor. Definitely a thumbs down for this cruise company. They couldn’t even be bothered responding to any feed back.

Not necessarily red necks...but in the US we would call them everything obscene and nothing decent.

I love the swells and high seas! The best part of the adventure at sea. P.S. carry your own TSA compliant - Corkscrews (with no blade). Carry-On Bags: Yes. Checked Bags: Yes.

I am bummed. We were on the Mardi Gras in December. My daughter was unhappy with the ship. All she did was complain. I was on a wheelchair and at her total disposal. She was up earlier. Than me. She didn’t like the barbecue, or the Chicken. She tried enchilada that was horrible too. She didn’t like how the show were set up. I did get to go a comedy show. It was bad. It lasted 30 minutes. All those people packed in for a show that was not only very funny, and over in 1/2 hour. The only thing she did like was the Magnolia Bar(very plush). It had a trio from Argentina😅 They were ver very good. For me, I couldn’t believe that people in the front just talked and talked, when the tr played. It was so rude! I’m at the age that my mouth opens when perhaps I observe rude people. But,I held my tongue. I did go to the Casino for a couple of hours. Fun, fun. It was right before dinner. I asked her to leave me at the craps table & she did. I could breathe. Had a great time up & down. To make dinner, I had to quit, Down $24. Much less than playing the slots, I was at the table almost two hours & had a great time! Our main man had to leave for early dinner. I had double my money, but I was having so much fun! A $24 loss for 2 hours makes me think I paid very little for great entertainment 😰✋🦻🏿

Excellent vid, really enjoyed sharing your experience and looking forward to the rest of this series as we've just booked Celebration for next year. "Power Rangers doing the splits!"...about spit out my drink lol You guys crack me up! And...you guys have really got to eat some real bbq somewhere down south. Pig and anchor is meh at best. I get that you don't have that really in the UK so you don't have a good way to judge it. You'd probably just die and go to heaven eating the real thing.

For some reason this video was not connecting with my brain that you were on a Carnival Cruise. I kept wondering how this cruise was seeming so subpar for Royal Caribbean but then everything finally clicked and I realized you two were on a Carnival ship. I completely understand all of the issues you ran into with service on the ship. I am not a fan of Carnival and never will be.

Hey boys glad you're enjoying your latest cruise, we have been following you for the past couple of years...I've noticed you use the term complimentary often...but surely that means free of charge, I'm sure there is nothing free on a cruse as you pay a small fortune for the privilege.... loving you vlogs...keep up the good work..Graham and Jason

Research purposes??? You kill me Ben! Too funny!!!! You can always ask for another table if you're being offended by fellow cruisers. DO NOT hesitate to ask, "You have not because you ask not" My motto on board any ship. I have yet to be denied!

Stuck at sea for 7 days? For me that would be cake compared to being at sea in the Navy where I had to endure 128 straight days at sea doing figure 8's in the ocean. I would take this over sleeping in a coffin rack and any of the food on the ship.

Great video gentlemen.. I have a different technique opening wine without corkscrew. Simply use the handle of a spoon to push the cork into the bottle
