Dr Dobson had a huge influence on my life. I was divorced with a 2 year old daughter and every morning I listened to the radio to get leadership. What a blessing you were. Love from South Africa

I was so blessed to know Jimmy Dobson, Dr. James' dad. He was teaching art at the college I attended. He let me sit in and watch my fellow students. We would talk a few minutes every time I visited. Later in 1992, I met Doc while he visited the church I was at. I mentioned his dad. I later had the opportunity to be employed a short time at Focus. We saw each other twice and he and I chatted a few minutes. Such a Godly man. So like his daddy 💛

I love these types of success stories. Wow! With all your efforts and the Lord’s direction, Dobson got the love of his life on earth, jobs, career, family, friends, God, etc. All praise to God and what a neat person. 🤗🙏🏻👏😇🥰

Loved this! I have followed Dr. Dobson since I first read “Strong Willed Child” in 1983! Great ministry and man of God!

Yes, I got to be a boss for a day and I learned the 3 ingredients to excellent leadership: 1) rely on Jesus all day long, 2) stay humble and 3) treat everyone below you as boss with dignity and respect. How awesome to have experiences meeting presidents and other leaders.

I am proud to be a new monthly supporter of Focus on the Family. As Christians we strive to balance truth and grace. Truth means God created men and women for very distinct roles in providing healthy models for our children. Grace means compassion for those who have been hurt by abusive or emotional absent parents. In the large picture gender confusion is a result of dysfunctional family relations. All the more reason to (1) love and understand those with alternate lifestyles, and (2) invest in families - Focus on the Family. May God grant us both wisdom and grace.

James Dobson is no longer with Focus on the Family. They voted him out. He and Shirley cried on the way home. But, God told James at that time that the family is at a great risk and God was not finished using him. James now has Family Talk. I no longer listen to Focus on the Family.

Would love to do great things for the Lord: depth with God, decent connection with others, become a doctor, have a wonderful job that is orchestrated by the Lord, etc. I am so inspired by listening to this interview. Thank you😇🙏🏻🤗

I love that, in regards to Dobson’s comment, “Humans are not accountable to God.” And “Finish Strong” wow! Help me do the same Lord.

Neither of my former parents wanted or loved me, but I can see for those who had parents that wanted them, love them and love the Lord, life is a little bit better. Or maybe a lot better. 🙏🏻🤗

I appreciate the ministry of bot men, but there are no Icons of the faith. There is Jesus and his followers, all equal, all sinners, all saved by grace.

Will see who was crazy at the end of this road of life.
      For without Christ
The end of a road it will be an eternal regret
      I invite you to repent
It will be the most sensible thing you will ever do.
