Number 4, Thais love their kings, many would say not true but in my opinion, that is depend on people choice, the main thing is many love the late King as the Father of the Nation and the recent king is his son who follows his father steps and continue supporting the projects to help Thai citizens in the idea of Sufficiency Economy. Number 8, death penalty is not that strict like she said. There are many channels non-Thais who travel and settle in Thailand in English, hope you enjoy more information and other views. I am Thai. This video is odd and unbalanced. There are allot of much better videos about Thailand out there. I could have given a better list of 15 items just off the top of my head. In addition, the narrator glossed over the fact that the current king is not respected like the previous king (and is a figure of great controversy). It is illegal to criticize the King, so Thai people will not talk about this publicly. Monks are also greatly respected in Thailand, despite the occasional controversy - choosing to talk about the 'tiger temple' gives the controversy involving one small group of misguided monks is weird and unbalanced. This video seems like it was produced by a 12 year old using one web site as their source material.

As a Thai, the information number 8 is absolutely wrong, not illegal but most Thai people consider it is not appropriate to intentionally step on the banknote as there is a picture of our king on the banknote.

Like , Stepping on banknote is only illegal if you do it on purpose because of the king picture on it but if it's an accident then it's ok etc.
Most new Thai generation people are not love our King anymore, only some old gen still love the King. And also don’t mind to step on bank note, but not do it on purpose still need to respect.

Number 4 was not true anymore. We're sick of propaganda of the monarchy since we were a child. Not many people still love royal family. Due to number 8, there is a law that anyone could not insult or harm the royal family or we will face the deadliest sentence.
