Does anyone know why little Olive won't be out playing with her friends today or Bill's wife won't be soaking up "whatever" from someone's grave? It seems to me that if someone prophecies in the name of Jesus and it does not happen, they are making a liar out of God? They simply sweep it under the rug and carry on in their greedy endeavors. I, for one, would not want to be in their shoes.

I gave many people a false hope by promising them that Jesus would heal them. That's what I was taught. Now I am content to give them the gospel- even if they are sick or dying. If I do pray for their healing I don't do it in their presence or earshot and it is always conditioned with 'Nevertheless, not my will be done but Thine.' A person can die in the prime of life: young, strong and healthy and go straight to hell. The physical state at the time of death has no bearing on the eternal destiny of the soul ✅️
These types refuse to acknowledge that ‘signs and wonders’ are just that - they are to point to something else. They totally miss the whole point of the Gospel ….

The command was to the 12!!!

This is a perfect example as to why Jesus said, ”Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.“ -John 5:39 KJV It is important for us in the body of Christ who are teachers to know how to rightfully divide the Word so that we can give an answer to every man who asks a question pertaining to the things of God, and rather than just give scripture we are also able to provide wisdom and understanding of the Word of God. Cessationism is literally one of the most “in house” issues out there in the church and bezel is faithful and a good teacher you just want to close every door that doesn’t exactly fit your image of the church by sewing seeds of division before you do. Go quietly quit trying to damage the reputation of good teachers
