1998-2001 Toyota Corolla Front Seat Belt Buckle Removal

Removal and installation of front passenger side seat belt buckle.
Process is the same for the driver's side.
You will need a phillips head screw driver, 12 mm and 14 mm sockets with an extension.
This video is for guidance ONLY. Make sure bolt is tighten to factory specifications; contact a professional automotive technician if unsure of what to do.

Just changed the buckle on a 1999 Corolla today. The tools you should have on hand are 12mm socket and extension to remove console, a14mm socket to remove buckle, a #2 Phillips to remove side screws on console, a stubby #1 Phillips to remove the buckle side cover. Reclining the seats as far as possible makes it roomier to work in this tight space. Thanks for making this video as it helped a lot.
