My wife and I spent a day watching God is not Dead 1 and 2. Then the next day she told me about this movie, o.k. I thought why not. By the end of the movie I was in a full blown cry out to Jesus, tears snot just out of control sobbing. Do you want to know why? That was me 15 years ago in Portland Oregon. I was trying to serve 2 masters. I went through a literal hell I lost my job,home,ministry, wife all gone because of a greater love for crack. Now my wife of 2 glorious years live in a different state. have a Great church support, and all the Glory goes to MY LORD, MY SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST AMEN!!!!!

My favorite part of the movie was when the pastor and his wife were looking to buy Miss Clara's home and the pastor keeps stepping into and out of the prayer closet and says someone's been praying in there. I think that shows the real truth of the movie that prayer creates an atmosphere... faith is a substance that is tangible and transcends time and space. When the Church gets the revelation that the smallest amount of faith opens a portal and shoots holes in the darkness of the enemy allowing God to move because one of His ambassadors has taken dominion over from satan in that area then all the lies and schemes of satan have to move out of the way. Prayer is a natural force like gravity, but instead of pulling you down it lifts you up and all of the circumstances you focus your prayer on. A very powerful movie and I think one of the best to come from the Kendricks.
I've been praying for my son, Joshua, for a long time. I cry a lot seeing him destroy his life. We raised him in a Christian home and taught him God's Word. He has the sweetest spirit and such a giving heart. But over the past few years, his life has spiraled out of control as he moved out of our home and has hung out with the wrong influences. I continue to pray as I stand in faith while our family struggles. My son needs a true Revelation from the LORD. God blessed me with my children after the doctor told me it would be difficult to have them. I've prayed and believed Jeremiah 29:11 over him and my girls their whole lives. And I continue to pray and fast. But my faith is starting to waiver, and I repent for that. My son needs Jesus. The LORD gave him to me, and I release him back with tears. He belongs to One Who died for him. I need prayer. My son needs prayer. Thank you to anyone who will pray for him. God Bless.
+The Groove I'm puzzled as to whether people are divided on this movie or downright hate it, especially since everyone else reviewing this movie almost always agrees that it is a terrible movie. I sat through it myself just to make sure I wasn't hating on it for no reason. I might have missed a couple things that people said, because it wasn't good as a movie, and the message, while trying to give a good one, gives a bad one in the process. These characters are not interesting, and if anyone actually tries to pay attention, people are not hating it simply because of a Christian message. I'm a part of Christianity, and I hate films like these for almost the same reasons that most people do, as a matter of fact. Maybe everyone could believe in God, but a movie's job should not be to do that. There are good religious movies, but this is barely a movie. I'm sorry.

God has really used this movie in my life in so many ways. I have my eyes set on where I am going, and have committed to moving forward on my knees. As always with all your movies I bring the youth I work with to see the movie, and watch it at least 1 other time with my wife. In the future, I would love to see you make a movie about the persecuted church, and the opportunities and open doors we have here in the west. I met several people on social media during the political season awhile back abs 12 of us became fast and close friends and we are all Christians, never met any of them but they’re all closer to me thanks siblings have ever been , the power of a ‘tribe’ is absolutely amazing, I’m new in my area and new to the church I found, so I haven’t really connected with anyone just yet but the tribe is like an ongoing conversation, every day! And I’ve watched war room so many times I know it be heart! Thank you for such an outstanding and spirit filled movie, it’s gotten me praying over my husband every night and battling for him and that has brought me so much closer to God!!!

I couldn't stop crying and laughing at the theater. I have had a turn to God within this week when it comes to prayer and then my parents took me to this movie the next day. I was so overwhelmed by God! By the end of me praying, I was shivering so much. He is so powerful. Today, I went to work and my co-worker was being a meanie. Ugh! I was about to react all angry, but I stopped and remembered the REAL ENEMY. I prayed to God to fight for me! And the co-worker completely changed! She was very helpful and cheerful! I was so joyful!.... Ahhhhhhhh! I LOVE MY GOD!

Lord, I pray the people who watch this movie receive the actual message You are sending, including myself vs just sitting in a cinema watching a movie for entertainment.There is a huge difference between these two. I pray God that people's hearts are turned towards you in spiritual battle and that we as your church begin to stand up and stop letting the enemy trample all over our lives. And making us think we are defeated.

I just heard this young man, a WOG, preaching, so powerful. I want to see more women, more people, like her out on the streets...there is an answer to our race relations that God can bring. God brought the African Americans here for a purpose--and we all can be blessed!

I was so overwhelmed by God! By the end of me praying, I was shivering so much. He is so powerful. Today, I went to work and my co-worker was being a meanie. Ugh! I was about to react all angry, but I stopped and remembered the REAL ENEMY. I prayed to God to fight for me! And the co-worker completely changed! She was very helpful and cheerful! I was so joyful!.... Ahhhhhhhh! I LOVE MY GOD!

As God hath said, "But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly," (Matthew 6:6).
