8 years later and this shows that even though large studios having 3d models and complex variables to make an animation but something makes a classic animation like this seem better than most animated shows and movies cause it shows how much life the creator puts in this animation
This animation was absolutely superb. The whole theme, timing, creative idea, and process and production was remarkable. The whole animation flowed so well that I watched it 3 times just to fully enjoy all the different aspects. As an animator myself, I can really appreciate a piece that took so long to do and came out great. I can't wait to see what you can do in another 8 months.
I kid you not, I woke up with this song playing in my head and immediately shot out of bed and went to watch this animation again. This makes me so nostalgic now, it's fascinated me when I was younger and it's still so gorgeous to me today.
Rewatching this after all but forgetting about it for a while... I can't decide what it is that I like best. I love the story that's being told. I really love the way that the animation is animated to the beat of the song behind it (I've always loved that touch). And, rewatching it, I never quite realized before how great the background landscape is. I really like the detail and the sense of cohesiveness that contributes to giving a real authenticity to the environment. I'm only echoing what so many before me have said, but this is truly a masterwork.
i cant get rid of my smile. My face literally stuck at expressing one emotion! I dont know how to describe it but watching your animation makes me feel happy. No words are enough to describe how good you are at what you are doing aaaand my face loosened at last... time to watch it again i guess .)
You did a *phenomenal* job of setting personalities. The girl was consistently cheerful and joyous, no matter the situation, and the robot was cold and emotionless until around the end when he realized the joy of dancing. Cheezy? Sure. Amazing? Yes. I remember playing Slush Invaders when I was little, it's nice to see you've not only kept going, you've improved a lot.
I wish there was more of this kind of content on youtube. Video's that brighten people's day, like this one does, are great to see and truly deserve more attention.
This is hands down one of my favorite animations on your channel and even tho I adore gildedguy story 4 I just cant help but say this one is my favorite and it's mostly because it's what lead to one my favorite original characters ive ever made, she is heavily inspired by the girl from this and even tho she has kinda got her own flair now I still see a little but of the girl from this in her and that's why i just get so happy everytime I watch this. I always love coming back to this. This is by far one of my favorite animations, it's so colorful and cute to watch, the music for it is great, and it always brightens my day just for watching.
despite this being old (about 5 years... time really flies fast doesn't it?), this animation is the perfect encapsulation of everything about your animations. amazing use of colors, bubbly art style and motions, and I can't forget the fantastic music choice which usually ends up right in one of my playlists. it feels like it was yesterday when this just got released, and at first I was at awe since your most recent works that I knew of was the Slush Invaders stuff, which was already so good. You keep outdoing yourself by breaking my expectations with each new animation. so keep it going. this decade has been a wild ride, and I don't see myself getting off of it anytime soon. you've kept it entertaining and I'm glad you're getting the recognition you deserve with all that hard work paying off. here's to another and I look forward to seeing more of your stuff.
Slush Invaders is one of my favorite animations of all time so of course I am going to watch whatever you make man. Then you come out with this Mr. gildedguy..... You come out with "Rhythm and Rockets" on one of the worst days I have had in awhile and after a day full of madness and bs, I lay down and watch this and I can't help but smile. I was browsing your channel through old videos you did, and this video i remembered listening too and loving, but WOW, like rewatching Gildedguy vs Oxob and coming back 5 years just shows how much love and passion you've put into your artwork. I love how you make everything flow and hit with the music. I would love to see an EDM/Dubstep song like this. Surprisingly there aren't many EDM/Dubstep stick fights or skits that go with the music. Something like Rock and Roll by Skrillex or Fire in the Hole by Pegboard nerds. It would be SO awesome.

8 years later and this shows that even though large studios having 3d models and complex variables to make an animation but something makes a classic animation like this seem better than most animated shows and movies cause it shows how much life the creator puts in this animation
This animation was absolutely superb. The whole theme, timing, creative idea, and process and production was remarkable. The whole animation flowed so well that I watched it 3 times just to fully enjoy all the different aspects. As an animator myself, I can really appreciate a piece that took so long to do and came out great. I can't wait to see what you can do in another 8 months.

Rewatching this after all but forgetting about it for a while... I can't decide what it is that I like best.
I love the story that's being told.
I really love the way that the animation is animated to the beat of the song behind it (I've always loved that touch).
And, rewatching it, I never quite realized before how great the background landscape is.
I really like the detail and the sense of cohesiveness that contributes to giving a real authenticity to the environment.
I'm only echoing what so many before me have said, but this is truly a masterwork.

You did a *phenomenal* job of setting personalities. The girl was consistently cheerful and joyous, no matter the situation, and the robot was cold and emotionless until around the end when he realized the joy of dancing. Cheezy? Sure. Amazing? Yes. I remember playing Slush Invaders when I was little, it's nice to see you've not only kept going, you've improved a lot.

This is hands down one of my favorite animations on your channel and even tho I adore gildedguy story 4 I just cant help but say this one is my favorite and it's mostly because it's what lead to one my favorite original characters ive ever made, she is heavily inspired by the girl from this and even tho she has kinda got her own flair now I still see a little but of the girl from this in her and that's why i just get so happy everytime I watch this. I always love coming back to this. This is by far one of my favorite animations, it's so colorful and cute to watch, the music for it is great, and it always brightens my day just for watching.
despite this being old (about 5 years... time really flies fast doesn't it?), this animation is the perfect encapsulation of everything about your animations. amazing use of colors, bubbly art style and motions, and I can't forget the fantastic music choice which usually ends up right in one of my playlists. it feels like it was yesterday when this just got released, and at first I was at awe since your most recent works that I knew of was the Slush Invaders stuff, which was already so good. You keep outdoing yourself by breaking my expectations with each new animation.
so keep it going. this decade has been a wild ride, and I don't see myself getting off of it anytime soon. you've kept it entertaining and I'm glad you're getting the recognition you deserve with all that hard work paying off. here's to another and I look forward to seeing more of your stuff.

I love how you make everything flow and hit with the music. I would love to see an EDM/Dubstep song like this. Surprisingly there aren't many EDM/Dubstep stick fights or skits that go with the music. Something like Rock and Roll by Skrillex or Fire in the Hole by Pegboard nerds. It would be SO awesome.
