Most of those horses had one or two great performance that marked them out as a great, for me for a long time Dancing Brave was Abdullah's best horse (even though in my opinion his Arc win wasn't his best performance as he beat the iron mare Triptych by much further in both that year's Eclipse & King George). Frankel's consistent brilliance at 2 (Royal Lodge), 3 (2000g, Sussex St & QE2) and 4 (Lockinge, Queen Anne St, Sussex St, Juddmonte) left me in no doubt that he is now the best horse Abdullah has owned (he even said it himself when asked) and for those who think he beat an average bunch of horses should remember he beat 23 individual G1 winners who had amassed 50 G1 wins in total - he had a cummulative winning distance of 76L. He was a freak of a horse which is borne out by his 11L Queen Anne win over 8 furlongs (for which he got his 147 Timeform rating) which saw him clocked at 10.58 sec for his third last furlong, which just so happened to be quicker than any of the sprinters achieved in the whole of the five furlong King’s Stand Stakes run on the same day.
Too bad Frankel was never brought to the States. But Frankel would not have made the 12 furlong distance of the BCTurf. If Frankel ran in the mile, it would still not be worth it bec top champions don’t win the Mile; they win the BC Turf.
When you think about khakid abdullla has easily had the best horses ever and you. Oils say enable frankel dancing brave would be in any top 5 or maybe too 3 of all time and then you have zafonic one of the best Guineas winners ever . Also liked xaar has a two year old who should have done better has a 3 year old .
Over a mile Frankel would beat dancing brave , 10 furlongs tricky, 12 furlongs doubtful imho. Its such a shame Frankel never went to the Arc or Breeders cup. His legacy will always be questioned because he didnt try 12 furlongs. On the one hand I understand they protected his unbeaten record, but on the other hand a defeat over 12 furlongs wouldnt have Spoilt his stud career. Dancing brave was a lifeless shadow of himself and only 4th in his last race in the Breeders cup turf , same with Shergar in the st leger , but they are still revered as turf legends. I understand why ŕacing fans dont agree with the " experts" that rate Frankel the top Horse tbh

Only one, DANCING BRAVE
Too bad Frankel was never brought to the States. But Frankel would not have made the 12 furlong distance of the BCTurf. If Frankel ran in the mile, it would still not be worth it bec top champions don’t win the Mile; they win the BC Turf.
Danehill
When you think about khakid abdullla has easily had the best horses ever and you. Oils say enable frankel dancing brave would be in any top 5 or maybe too 3 of all time and then you have zafonic one of the best Guineas winners ever . Also liked xaar has a two year old who should have done better has a 3 year old .
Over a mile and a quarter and a mile and a half Dancing Brave for me. Over a mile Zafonic as at his best could see him picking Frankel off.
Zafonic was special.
And Dancing brave for me the greatest in best Arc field ever.
But a wee soft spot for the little one!! WARNING... Magic..
Zafonic was just incredible, probably one of the very few that could have seriously challenged Frankel over a mile.
Arrogate, Enable and Frankel are the best racehorses ❤️🖤
Enable was not a better horse at a mile and a half than Dancing Brave nor was Frankel a better 10 furlong horse than DB.
That Arc field Dancing Brave beat is ducumented as the greatest ever assembled anywhere

Agree 100%. The greatest.
All about opinions.
But Zafonic would have gave Frankel a run for its money up to a mile..
Should be harwood loaded Starkey is God
I often wonder what drugs they use on their horses in america
Everything but heroin. It is a disgrace.
Mm hi
Nashwan
Nashwan wasn't a Abdullah horse, he was owned by Hamdan Al Maktoum.
The superb and overrated frankel
Greatest of all time frankel
@@unbeaten04berry4 all on opinions and imo he's no3 in my time watching racing behind Sea the Stars and Rock of Gibraltar
Dancing Brave would have beaten Enable by 5
