    Romberg is good for sensory (proprioceptive) ataxia to evaluate the dorsal column sensory pathways. When there is cerebellar ataxia (which is differentiated by swaying with the eyes open) romberg test cannot and should not be used because it will be meaningless - great point! Especially as there is a prevalent misconception that romberg tests the cerebellum which it does not do in any way

    I didn't get it. In a BM transplant the faulty cells are eliminated and new cell lines introduced. Why would the new cells still have trouble with their receptors (= why isn't it a curative BM transplant as opposed to ADA def.)?
