- Smol1s! Join us on our first ever track day at Brands Hatch. We had just finished up installing the water methanol system a few days before our track day.
Ash joined us at the last minute for a few fun laps round the track. I wanted to drive safely but have fun so wasn't going for the best lap times, but did enjoy pushing the car and getting used to the limits. The water meth system was amazing at keeping temperatures down, and even got the intake temps down to -3c at some points!

Bigger brakes and discs needed, how about a 4x4 conversion you would love it even more trust me!
We had bigger discs and Aftermarket pads, but evidently need even bigger ones!
A 4wd conversion was on the table but as this is also our daily, we couldn't have it off the road for that long at the moment
Im going on thursday for a trackday taster. Can't wait honestly
Are you taking your car on track? Is the taster session a shorter day like morning/afternoon only?
Take it nice and slow, my brakes were smoking and smelling badly after about 5 laps pushing it hard lol
@@SwatiGurpreet yeah was my own car this morning. You get your sighter laps first off and then they bring you back in and then you get to do your 20 minutes. But i actually stayed out for about 45 minutes and man it was so much fun. Although the marshal in the pitlane was a bit of a dickhead and told us off for going out of garage and someone letting us in the queue which we didnt know about anyway as the guy from MSV said it was ok to do that. Apart from that it was really good and will probably go back for a half day or something like that

Sorry. I gave birth in December, wasnt able to help hubby do anything on the car last year cos I was pregnant and then cosa the pandemic we couldnt even meet up with friends to record videos. We should have new stuff coming out soon, have a few small jobs to do on the car so we will record those

Mate them flames in the tunnel, how do you get it to produce such heavy ones, mine are more violent and raspy.
I got to about 6.5k - 7k RPM, get off the throttle for a sec so it starts popping/crackling then blip the throttle. Give about half a second between each blip so some extra overrun can 'build up', if you do it too quickly you won't get flames. You can definitely tell from inside the car when you're flaming.
I can get the car to do even bigger flames with the meth system but this is too dangerous and not really worth the risk lol
Swati Gurpreet - I’ll give it a try like, but the only times I’ve heard the flames they’re really violent like gunshot flames, what map you got? Yeah defo lay off with the meth kit, don’t want to start bonfire night off early 😂😂😂.

You can use any cheap OBD2 device that can feed the information from your car to your phone (It's gone from my eBay history but it cost around £5).
Then use RaceChrono to get all the info to display. If you buy the pro version (I think around £15) it gives you much more freedom to change the stats that are displayed and you can record higher quality video. There are a few other track day apps but this had all of the features we were looking for and is very easy to set up.

Stage 1 and miltek full system it comes with the oversize ramair induction kit you have,but he didnt like the noise and put back to standard..l may put it back on and give it a try to see if it makes much difference.
Will get cambelt done 1st job as due.
