- In this video titled EU4 A to Z - I Got One Of THE HARDEST ACHIEVEMENTS In The Game I play as Mysore in Europa Universalis 4 1.35 Domination. This is the series titled A to Z where I attempt to play every* nation in EU4 in alphabetical order. Of course I had to remove some nations so the challenge doesn't get too boring. In this video I play as the nation of Mysore and I attempt to get the tiger of Mysore achievement. So, let's see if I managed to do it! I hope you guys enjoy this series. Najd was the state that would go on to form Saudi Arabia after WWI, they were promised a lot more land after the war than they were given, so for your challenge conquer all the land they were promised (the Levant and Arabian Peninsula, not 100% on the correct name of two regions off the top of my head)

Well as you know, everyone loves when you do achievements; and as you also know, Najd has a unique achievement for you to do :))))
Hawk, I think it would be really cool to have an episode where you give your own thoughts on the series. Maybe go over some of your favorite and least favorite nations you played, share which you thought would be easy but turned out to be hard and vice versa. You have done so many, it would be cool to see. Great work man, here is to another season beginning next week!

@@TheRedHawkbecause you’re about halfway done with A-Z, it should be a tier list, you should also do it again at the end of the series to both see how much of a better player you are as well as updating your rankings.
I remember early on where you’d just let disasters and bankruptcies happen whenever, but now you take it seriously (while still being fun) and accomplish things no one really would
I thought the borders would look nice because you were staying within specific regions but they still ended up looking like ass
I was really hoping he would annex Chanda anyway just to fix the border.

I tackled the "Where the heart is" thinking to be easier the Mysore... Well, it is faster, both to either lose or win

I did it on my second try, winning the first war vs Vijayanagar is the only hard part.

At least you did it consistently wrong, but the "My" in Mysore is supposed to be pronounced just like English "my". The original Kannada name started with "Mahi-".

@@ihatemotionblur_3255 Sure, but that's on Paradox, they're using the British imperial names for all places in the Indian subcontinent that were used by the English during the majority of the game's timespan.
I actually got this achievement two days ago, so curious how you wil go.
You cnt ally bahmanis because they want a province, so I went with Gujarat and orissa. Needed a few restarts so I could easily gobbly up the small guys thgough
Also, had to fight a lot of other nations in the end cause they all had some land in the required region. they also stacked themselves with mercs...
One day I found your videos and I got interested in EU4. A month ago I bought it and keep using your guide videos, they are very good and have helped me enjoy the game, so thank you and keep up the good work! Also, if you’re interested, could you do a guide video on Ming or England? I’ve been wanting to play them, but I have no clue how to and I know your guides are really good!
It would have been a good idea to vassalize or release Madurai at the start. They have lots of cores on Vijay
I got this one a long time ago. Wasn't that difficult honestly. I personally like releasing Madurai to feed them their cores, or release them and support rebels in Vijaynagar. You just need to survive 25/30 years as around that as Vijayanagar will become unstable. I find Pandya Empire and The Buddhists Strike Back as harder achievements in that region.
If you are low on prestige, you can always revoke cores to gain some. Annexing Vij without doing it was kind of a waste while you couldn't become kingdom due to negative prestige.

Remember eating Vijayanagar as Madurai... Brought glory to the Pandya dynasty (actually the oldest historical dynasty in the game) successfuly!
I tried this achievement a couple times and gave up. It's so hard.
That's where I'm from! It was my first nation(stupid, I didn't play the game for 2 years after that) and I did a mysore -> bharat run later, was one of my most boring runs ever tbh

Having gotten this one about a month ago. I actually don't think it's "hard," it's mostly just getting large enough, and going over diplo limit for allies to just swarm Vij. The first war is the hardest, after that it's just clean up, and then growing to the point you can 1v1 your allies.
Oh, nice! Got this a few years ago. From the first attempt surprisingly. It is still one of my rarest overall (top 3), along with The Animal Kingdom, and Ganges Khan.
Should have vassalized Madurai instead of annexing them. They have a lot of cores in some higher dev southern provinces.
As Najd, become the defender of faith and erase all of the other Islamic faith (Shia and ibadi if Sunni, Sunni and Ibadi if Shia or Sunni and Shia if Ibadi)

As Najd there's only 1 thing to do: conquer all lands controlled by the Rashidun, Umayyad and Abbasid caliphates.

I found this achievement to be very easy.

honestly, mysore is not that bad of a start. you start in a very difficult position yes, but you have fortunate circumstances that you can use to plob pretty quickly. the key thing is getting the right start (in other words, making sure your neighbors don't ally the big yellow guy), snipe them in a chainwar if possible and keep improving relations with mr blue. Ideally, you want to snag an alliance with mr blue and either get called into the war againsts big yellow to then snipe provinces while mr blue is attacking yellow. Alturnatively, you could refuse the call to arms and then go to war with yellow when his armies are stack whiped by mr blue.

I don't remember if you already played Madurai in A to Z serie, but in my opinion, m'y game for thé "Pandya Empire" as them was harder than the tiger of Mysore xd thank you for your dayly content man, its so great !! And very nice voici acting for non english mothertong people 👌🏻
I went a little different way: I created an alliance with Orissa and Gujarat, waited for 6 military technology and quickly defeated first Vijayanagar, and then Bahmanis. Here the biggest problem is to get the right alliances, my way is one of the easiest in this regard.
Good video as always, but I feel like it’s been cut too much, for example ideas you chose or deving institutions. You used to show those things and I still believe they’re helpful for those who try to get this achievement themselves
i stopped watching at the end of season A and ive been spending my freetime the past 3 weeks on a binge of this series... ive finally caught up thank God

Seeing that it can be achieved with subjects too, seems like leaning into those strong vassal contribution might make it even easier.
Last time i tried this, i got very unlucky and vij allied bengal or something like that lol

I am kind of confused bc i see a lot of options u have on the game that i do not have. I have the epic games version which was for free a few weeks ago and i cant like give the states any abilities or let my traders do something other than the two base options. And i cant use the diplomacy thing from the production interface, in fact i cant even see it. I'd rlly like to know if this is a matter of version or of dlcs 🤔

Tipu Sultan of Mysore had a french-made mechanical Tiger which could devour people, he also had a rifle which was decorated in the style of a tiger (unfortunately it is in the hands of the British now)
