This is a kind of important topic and I needed to get it done before the 23rd so I kinda speedran making this video, so it's not quite to the quality I want - I hope it's still acceptable and explains things clearly enough. If you have any questions about this topic feel free to ask and I'll try to answer them.
wow this so useful, the game its really vage when it comes down to the actual numbers that each skill provides, i apreciate your investigation allot, thank you
6:00 this graph, the unlabeld y axis makes it seem like the 0 in the bottom left corner applies to both axis, which then would be both zero indexed when the y isn't.
Okay i'm a bit stupid, because you obviously took the tick marks from the range, and by brain just tried to fit the multiplier numbers to it starting at the top and getting to the bottom one being a 1x multiplier, so basically having no effect and therefor being a solid base.
@@Alex_VirYeah that particular graph was just supposed to be a quick example of how damage/headshot multipliers overlap so I removed the numbers because there wasn't an easy way of displaying both together otherwise. Sorry if it was confusing!
this is pretty good, but this does not seem intuitive at all in or out of game, like yeah i get it, but its not something id just get a feel for lmao very helpful video tho thank you!
Yeah that's why I figured it'd be better to give a simple conclusion at the very start. Trying to explain how this works is a nightmare and if you were to try and figure all this out in game it would be really time consuming and hard to quantify... after struggling to figure out how to make this video I now understand why the devs haven't explained how any of this works lmao

@@EmApex One idea I came up with, since you already used two different colours for the lines, maybe two different colours for the nubers?
@@Alex_VirAh. Yeah that would've made sense. If I ever end up covering this again I'll make sure to colour code the numbers next time

over 100% must count pellets as individual hits, works the same in-game
That doesn't explain how I have over 100% with pistols, SMGs, and assault rifles though
@@EmApex maybe one bullet killing two at once? Does that happen?
I have no idea, I haven't noticed if it's possible or not
