I agree with almost your entire ranking F13 is also my favorite franchise and I also put part 5 above part 3. I really think the 3D aspect hurt the film. The only focus was getting the 3D shots right so things like acting and character development fell by the waist side. I really think part 3 is only held in such high regard because it's the film where Jason gets his hockey mask. As far as positives. I really like Richard Brooker as Jason and it does have one of the best 3rd act chase scenes in the franchise. Great video.
Love your ranking. The New Blood is my favorite. But, that's because when I watched it as a child with my father, I had already seen the previous installments. All the previous movies scared me, so when I saw Tina defeating Jason, my 9-year-old self was able to sleep. 😅😅😅
Thanks! Lol It's underrated for sure. The MPAA killed a lot of it though which was unfortunate but had some great characters like Melissa my fav bitch in the series Lol and of course Terry Kiser himself. The explosion at the end was well done as well.
Good video, I just subscribed. Your ranking is close to mine - every ranking I've seen has part 4 at the top, but my personal favorites are 6 and 2. My least favorite is Jason X. As bad as Jason Goes To Hell was, I feel this was as a stop gap leading to Freddy VS Jason, and was something thrown together that comes off as a cheesy Sy-Fy movie. Either way. it's all subjective. Keep up the good work.

As for X JGTH both can flip flop as well as both are so bad 😄. Yeah I thought the same Freddy vs Jason had so much potential but just left me wanting more as a movie it's average every way.
Michael is my all time favorite slasher but the Friday series is my favorite overall franchise. I don't hate any movie in the series, just some I love more. I'm with you man, I never end up liking 99% of the remakes they do. The Friday the 13th remake wasn't terrible but it was just bland. It didn't feel like a Friday film at all to me. They blew their load to quick, the first 20 minutes were intense and quite good but after that it was just sort of "meh". I hated how Jason kept the girl as a captive, that is not Jason! I did like Jared Padalecki as Clay, he did good. Anyway, great video. I love hearing different rankings of franchises that I love and get another perspective. My rankings are: 12. Jason X 11. For me, the biggest thing I didn't like about Part 4 was most of the characters I didn't care about. I wasn't convinced. I liked Tommy, his sister Trish and of course Jason himself. I haven't gotten it yet.

They stole a lot of particular elements from the Wrong Turn movies for that 2009 abomination.
