Hello my name is Cody. I love to travel and have 1000s of pictures from my travels of the past years. I just started this channel and will make little videos talking about traveling and maybe my other retro activities like old music and movie formats and my game collection. I really want to focus on travel though and I'm just starting out with vlogging so go easy on me. So basically travel, old school rock and metal, horror movies, and retro video games. ROCK ON and don't let fear of the unknown keep you from seeing the world. As Mark Twain said “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”

Great ranking. One of the best hard rock singers ever. Rest in peace.
@Eufron05 no doubt prime Jack was very very good.
Cool ranking, my favourite Great White album is and always will be “Can’t Get There From Here”, awesome F’n album
@CorabicrueJ it is freaking great listen to it a good bit of time.
The 90s were great
@mikeritter2979 some of it lol 😆 I sure don't like grunge or the mainstream music but did love the video games renting movies wrestling wars and such. Still way better than now.
Great White is in my top five favorite bands ever. IMO - they had it all figured out.
@@Peekay9 they always delivered and sounded great that's for sure.
I like the first album the best
I mentioned that many or a lot do. I dig the heavier sound for sure would be interesting to see what would have happened had they stuck to the metal sound.
Awesome ranking and I can't argue with your top three those are easily the best.
@jcrockandmetalreviews hey man thanks for watching! Yeah I think 99% of fans would have those in the top 3 in some order. It's as the Macho Man would say they are the "cream of the crop!" 😂 🤘
Hi. Could you do a ranking of Testament albums? I'm curious about your choices. Greetings from Poland! 🙂
@kamilm3664 I was thinking about doing them for a while. I need a few more of theirs but they're one of my big 4 thrash bands ans last one I haven't done. It would he a tough one I have a fav album but the rest could be any order haha will need time to get a list done. I will be doing one in the coming weeks. 🙂
@@retro_wanderluster9962 Great. Thanks 🙂 It would be a tough choice for me too, because I like most of their albums. So since I can't decide, I'll leave the decision up to you, lol 😉🙂
@kamilm3664 lol thanks. I may go see them with kreator on the first but it's a 6 hr round trip drive ugh 😑. I have a fully signed by the band (of the time) Low poster hanging on my wall in my basement. I also have friends in Poland I may visit one of these days. I need more Euorpe trips being as I want to be over there all the time. 😝
@@retro_wanderluster9962 Thanks to the internet, we are all global today. Great, Testament has many fans in Poland. As do other thrash metal bands. And I am glad that our country is on your list of countries to visit. Years ago, when Whitney Houston performed here, she was very surprised that polar bears did not greet her. She thought that we were full of them. And maybe that is why she performed in a fur coat... in August 😂 So it is nice that you know our country. Now, I'm waiting for Testament albums ranked!
@kamilm3664 Americans are pretty rude with other cultures. Being a European at heart, I like to say I know Europe pretty well especially with metal and sports and even beer and food. Poland doesn't get THAT cold same as Ohio where I live and it probably gets colder here lol 😆. I always get cold though but I like hockey so it fits me. I visited LA a decade ago and all the locals and Mexicans were wearing winter coats in 13/14C weather haha. As far as thrash goes is maybe my 2nd or 3rd fav subgrenre grew up with hair metal first and then came power and thrash and pretty much my main 3 subgrenres haha. I will say Metallica is overrated. I know it's not a popular opinion but goddamn they haven't been good for 30 plus years. Sorry had to vent. Lol Cheers 🍻
My old band, Assassin, played the Omni/Touch at Morgantown WVU one weekend, the next weekend they had Wrathchild. At the time we were the top two bands there. I wish we could have gotten together. Good times!
That's really awesome. I live near WV border but the shitty side lol Too bad you never got to open or play with WA in a show that would have been EPIC!
I think Rock in a hard place is Great! You don't like Joanie's Butterfly? I bought it but I never reach for it and that is Permanent vacation... Pump was the last Aerosmith album I bought. Not really into what came after but I will say I like jaded.
I have to go back in listen to it I do like Lightning Strikes though it was even on Ozzy's boneyard last week! It's not a horrible album just didn't leave a big impression on me. Permanent Vacation I can't listen to that much. I didn't care for the singles that much and only really like Angel. I get that was their true comeback since DWM didn't fare too well. Jaded was good. I liked Get A Grip when it came out but it has cooled a lot since. I really got into Aerosmith at a young age and that was the new hip album of the time and the hot videos lol so maybe that's why I liked it so much. Sorry for late reply once again didn't get notification. I had to go to comments tab under the analytics page. Sometimes TH-cam just doesn't notify me for some reason.
Wow, where'd you get that?! Your collection must be through the roof.
@rattpoison1 oh I do okay. I like to add to it when I can. It's worth a good bit so far 👌 😊
great pickups, back in 1984 Kick Axe was playing a show in Prince Albert Saskatchewan buddy and I got to help set up got our Vices albums signing by the band they signed the back of the albums too, going to Saskatoon this Saturday to see Possessed,Kreator and Testament never thought they would make it up to Saskatoon to do a show but even wilder in November going to see Night Demon,Overkill and King Diamond so pumped and good to see you back Bud take care
I just listened to Rock the World this week lol. I agree the Vices was great then kinda went downhill from there, Welcome to the Club was not bad though liked it. That was awesome you got to set up their show. I wanna see that show on the first of October problem is my damn location. I have to drive 3 hrs to Cleveland just for a 3 hr show then drive back.I missed out on Kreator last 2 times locally. I want to see them. Saw Testament twice so far always great. 2 of my big 4. That King Diamond tour is also coming to Cleveland in November. Columbus is a shitshow for metal. Not many big names come there ever and when I saw Helloween there in 2013 less than 100 or abouts showed up fucking joke. They skipped it this time around Hammerfall just played Columbus lol and Helloween were back on tour the next show. Pittsburgh sucks to drive in so I'm kinda stuck in the middle of nowhere for shows. Thanks for watching. Enjoy the shows! 🤘
Chemistry, Digital Man, The Weapon, New World Man... possibly the best 4 track run in their career... and the rest of the tracks are pretty damn good as well.
@eccehomer8182 pretty hard to argue with that or beat that. Tom Sawyer Red Barchetta YYZ and Limelight are up there also
@@retro_wanderluster9962 Damn straight! Or indeed the whole of the Hemispheres album! Let's face it... doing sub-par songs wasn't really their thing.
@eccehomer8182 that's why Rush is the first band that comes to mind when someone says "name an artist without a bad album".
I would argue Subdivisions through Digital Man.
@@carlgibbons5777 As good as it is, personally I don't think Analogue Kid quite matches the level of the ones I mentioned... but I take your point. Similarly you could say the same about Losing It... then you've got the whole album because Countdown is brilliant as well.
An era of Rush where they really honed in their more modern sound and style. A radio friendly era too coming off of Permanent Waves and Moving Pictures which got Rush a ton of air play. My first Rush concert was with the release of their next album, Grace Under Pressure. Pictures and posters of Neil Peart permeated the walls of my room as a teenager! Thanks for sharing this cool box set.
@zietgiestnewspeak6143 yeah for sure. I'm not a huge prog guy so while I like the 70s Rush those long songs really got to me after a while lol I prefer 80s more radio friendly type Rush. Neil is and will always be a legend. You're welcome and thanks for watching. It's a long road to get people to watch sometimes.
Saw them on that Tour at MSG
@@Whytemonkee hell yeah 😎. I wish I could have lived through the 80s hard rock and metal years. I caught the very last remnants of it but not enough.
Love the Saxon hat!
@@begood1 thanks got it at the Saxon/Uriah Heep show earlier this year!
@@retro_wanderluster9962 I saw them in Atlanta!
@@begood1 I saw them in Marietta...Ohio 😆 small ass town like 13k small theater.
Probably the best 80’s Rush album! 💿🤘🏻
@Riky_Jones certainly close for sure my 3 favs are all those in a row permanent waves moving pictures and signals. Can't go wrong with any of them.
Grace for me but this is a close second.
@@eccehomer8182 Hard for me to choose between GUP and Power Windows. Probably Grace, but those two always occupying my #4 and #5 fav Rush album spots. Signals is always at #3.
@@carlgibbons5777 I'm guessing Moving Picture is 1 or 2 and 2112 or Hemispheres is the other. Grace edges it for me out of the third era albums... All are brilliant (though Tai Shan seriously lets down HYF)... But Between the Wheels sends Grace over the top... in my top 5 Rush songs and my favourite Lifeson solo.
@@eccehomer8182 Moving Pictures is #1 and Permanent Waves is #2. To me, Permanent Waves is where the band REALLY hit their stride.
There is an alternate cover to taken by force.
@@kurtemeigh yeah the boring cover with the band at the top over a black background with the title in red letters.
Fox has been one of my favorite bands since i came to earth , i prefer BiH, or bite down hard depending on the day 🤘 MKS told me how zakk got on Six guns loaded was that he was working on No More tears down the hall and came over and liked SGL and the rest is history !
@krashkoursemetalshow that's awesome I didn't know that. That's awesome he told you personally. It is like when Alice Cooper recorded Billion Dollar Babies and Donovan was recording in same studio at the time and he asked him to guest on the song and rest is history.
@@retro_wanderluster9962 good stuff 🤘
Lots of metal bands released stuff in the 90's on independant labels, you just had to look
@kevinb3307 yeah true its just that society then and even now kinda treated metal as taboo.
3D was Awesome
@kevinb3307 yeah it was. Clowns to the left of me jokers to the right. Seems fitting for society haha
Ya might like Sadistic Force, they are good too.
@@Riky_Jones I'll have to check them out. Not familiar with them.
Cool finds. Interesting shooting gallery album. Just today I bought the album (cd) from jerusalem slim. Do you know them?
@BungelTom did you listen to it yet? I know that's Michael Monroe's short-lived band but haven't got it yet.
By the way i like that CINDERELLA and SCORPIONS very much. Just today i played FACE THE HEAT from 1993, very good too.
@holspa it's a solid blues hard rock album and Face The Heat is underrated a bit. I really like Alien Nation Under the Same Sun No Pain No Gain and Woman. Woman is very unique and unlike anything they've ever done.
Good to see you are still alive😅. Very cool records you bought. Nice RATT shirt too.
@holspa thanks I totally dig it love detonator it gets some shit but it's among my favs.
Some great stuff. I'd love to run into some of those releases in the wild.
@JeffMcCormack777 some I get online but when I travel I also stop and go through the bins 🙂
Great finds indeed, Cinderella awesome, enjoy spinning those
Thanks! I don't know if I should open that one or not. I may get a reissue and keep it sealed haha.
@@retro_wanderluster9962 open it it needs to be played
Since I couldn't play it without being blocked here is the song "the Liar" by Ozzy check it out... th-cam.com/video/6JxdeUeZ8vw/w-d-xo.html

@kevinbrown1893 can't go wrong with any of those top 5. If they had a down period it would he around 96 to 2010 but I think killbox 13 is awesome and I like from the underground and some of necorshine the rest are hard to really like a lot. The new album kicks so much ass too.
Aerosmith has had an amazing career. I can find something to like on every record. Get Your Wings, Rocks, Permanent Vacation, Nine Lives, Pump and Night In The Ruts are probably my favorites.
@spiffy8576 that's completely fair and true even their worst albums have at least one or 2 songs I like such as fly away from here lol but that album is very bad. Nice lost there for sure. 70s Aerosmith is my fav for sure.
@@retro_wanderluster9962 I agree, Just Push Play is definitely the Aerosmith album I listen to the least.
5 - Return To Forever 4 -Lovedrive 3 - Animal Magnetism 2 - Blackout 1 - Love At First Sting #
@user-el6ds6il8m 3 of these are in my Top 5 as well and AM is underrated and is not talked about as much as it should be.
That`s how I found out about `em was on Headbanger`s with "Climbin`.." Such an underrated group from an underrated town for metal/hard rock..."Silent Darkness"was a favorite......Can`t stand Godsmack(I call it Dogspank)---just can`t take it--we called `em posers back when it really mattered........Still have my hair to my ass, because I can....anyway,before I take it too far and long.............thanx
@stephenmcgraw8871 yeah Baltimore area had some wicked underrated bands like WA Kix Child's Play...etc. Yeah Godsmack is garbage. They're coming here in October 🤮. That's awesome I can get it down to almost middle of my chest then it just splits. I wish I can grow it that long just never could. No problem thanks for watching! I guess they're more closer to WV than Baltimore but close enough I live on WV border the opposite side it's crap. It says they're Martinsburg based but I am pretty sure WA formed in VA
Last Child and Nobodys Fault are Brad riffs, not Joe.
@jersydvl thanks for clarification. I always thought he was rhythm guitarist didn't know that. Brad and I share same birthday. 🤘
very fair list. nicely done. Fave song Combination. Fave Album: Get a Grip
@jersydvl thanks it was pretty difficult the middle of the list. GAG was my first owned Aerosmith album.

Brinty fox was a great great band i love dizzy voice self titled album was a best metal album ever I'm fox fan since 88 still want brinty with same sprit n song fan of BF from karachi Pakistan v miss u
I like Dean's raspy voice too it rocks! It's certainly a great debut probably their best even if I prefer Bite Down Hard these days. I don't know what Dean is doing now. Wow Pakistan! How popular is hard rock and metal there? I haven't talked to anyone from there before. ROCK ON! 🤘
BIH is a solid release but My Stevie absolutely rips! Crank the beginning of that sometime & see if you don’t change ur mind. But u gotta crank it!!! 🤘🏼
@@heathertiller3644 I always dug the opening guitar riff from MKS in the song. I don't dislike the song at all. It's just not that memorable imo. Good riffage rough. 🤘
Same as I’d rank them but the first 3 are very close. Springhead Motorshark is terrible, only good song is T.L.U.C. ( For You) Sounds like a 80s lost Def Leppard song
@JCStorm76 I can listen to it but it's not very good and wtf are they doing vibes everywhere on the album. The first 3 are solid for sure.
I've never even listened to the 4th album before. I have the 2nd nd 3rd on vinyl, but need to get the first *have it on CD I believe)
it's on YT fully check it out it's a bit...different lol
I saw an interview with Billy Once where they asked about springhead motorshark and he didn't have positive things to say about it. Seems it was rushed and they weren't given much of a budget by the label.
I only have the first two CDs but I am sure the others are good.
@Riky_Jones bite down hard is awesome. Springhead motorshark is unique about all I can say with that one. 😆

I agree with the top three 👍
They're very melodic and memorable. Thanks for watching. It's hard to really rank most of them but those 3 have always been my top for this band.
I frikkin love their cover of Time!!
@ShedFan1 it's really good and that's saying something as I don't like PF at all lol and usually prefer originals but this is one I like the cover more.
Please 🙏 do a AC/DC ranking
@eijiroinouye4115 I don't have many of theirs but I could do one. It would be difficult for me as I'm not a huge fan and their albums are very similar to each other.
Good review bro great album love your humour
Tony's guitar is way too tinny
@JamesBurchell-r5p haha thanks I'm usually good for honesty and black humour.
@JamesBurchell-r5p I think so it's not a blitzing guitar album as much as say heaven and hell or earlier 70s
Cool ranking buddy, sadly such a small output from a great band, my favourite will always be “Night Songs” cheers
@@CorabicrueJ yeah definitely should have had more albums they were such a great band.
The first two are great! Third and fourth are ok, but there are so many better albums out there I rarely listen to those.
@jesses.9843 totally agree there but for some reason I tend to listen to heartbreak station the most of them lol. I love the first 4 songs on it then it dies almost complete until last track. Too bluesy but I enjoy it but overall not as good as first two. Still climbing is average with a few solid songs. It drags a bit but not bad hardly ever listen to it.
