The size of this watch is actually 43.4 mm . It’s a fantastic Seiko diver . I own the SBDC033 Blumo/Sumo and love it . I’ve definitely thought about adding this watch or the Twilight blue version of this watch to my collection. Thanks for sharing and congratulations on your new watch 👍🏻💯

I know, totally screwed that up! I noted it in the comments, I think it's actually officially listed as 44 mm but it probably varies depending on exactly where you measure. Thanks for your comment, it's definitely a great piece and if you're thinking about pulling the trigger is say go for it! The SBDC033 is a great one too. Thanks for watching!

Stunning watch! similair dial to my SRPC25J1 which really hits in the sun. but you can't beat the creamic dial and the SUMO housing on this.

I believe it's actually an aluminum insert bezel and not ceramic, but they have applied a glossy finish to it that does give it a bit of a unique appearance compared to their other aluminium bezel divers.

Over a thousand dollar watch and you are fine with the bezel alignment being off? Not fine with me.

People have become obsessed with this one particular issue, giving it an outsized level of importance relative to other important qualities of a watch. I've chosen not to. Thankfully you aren't obligated to purchase this watch, otherwise we'd really have a problem!

@@froesei You're right no one is obligated to buy any watch. Seiko is a great watch brand, but they seem to be letting quality slip while their prices rise, not a good combination. There are many micro brands now that do a fantastic job at well under a thousand bucks. Helm, Aragon, Phoibos come to mind.

I agree that their prices have been increasing, I just don't agree that their quality has dropped. All the things that people have been asking for - sapphire crystal, ceramic bezels (or at least bezels with higher quality treatments and coatings), higher quality bracelets, spectacular dials, and upgraded movements with larger power reserves, are things they've been increasingly adding to their lineup. Seemingly, these things are going to cost more. But they've been successfully misaligning bezels for years. This is not new! If anything, that's where their consistency has fallen off. I mean, I've bought two Seikos recently whose bezels were aligned nearly perfectly. Perhaps that's what's new. For shame!
