I just upgraded from the Cardo Q1 (yes it still works!) to the Spirit HD. I thought the Q1s were really good until I got the Spirit HDs. It’s like going from a Kraco stereo to a Kenwood. You do great things for us Veterans, thank you. ✌️
I love my Cardo Spirit! Lowest price model, great battery life, make calls and receive calls. Glad I purchased it. Music sounds good with the JBL speakers
I had a PacTalk Black that gave up the ghost after returning from Sturgis. It was only 18 months old, but got a super deal on it from Revzilla. Cardo customer service was outstanding & after ruling out the microphone & cradle, they sent me a new PacTalk Edge at no charge. I did have to send them my old unit that cost me $6.00 to ship. The unit is a step up from the PacTalk Black & I love the magnetic attachment. Very quick & secure. I know many commentators enjoy music & the intercom functions, but my favorite is for safety. When riding in inclement weather, it’s so reassuring to hear turn by turn instructions in you helmet rather than looking at your phone or a map in a tank bag. As mentioned, really enjoying this unit & thanks to Cardo for their customer support.👍👌👏 0:06
Thank you! We've been tossing the idea back and forth about a communication system for our half helmets. This gives us more to chew on. Thank you again!
I've owned a few Sena units: 20S, 50S, SRL and SRL-Mesh. I stopped bothering with Sena due to very poor after-sale support and them making me pay to ship a defective unit back to get a replacement under warranty. Now that Sena uses the same overall company for their speakers (Harman Kardon vs JBL) as Cardo, I'm sure that they're very comparable in terms of hardware and sound quality. However, I still won't purchase Sena units again because of poor customer service because it sure felt like their support folks DGAF. Sena = poor software and even worse customer service. I even switched from Shoei to Arai because of Shoei's partnership with Sena for helmet-specific units. I've owned a Cardo PackTalk Black and PackTalk Edge and have never had any issues. The firmware updates via the mobile app are so damn nice, too. I'm sold on Cardo at this point.
I agree, it's the best at this time. Pairing is super easy and when you set up a group it remembers forever, until you delete it. Day after day it will pair with the group when in range. Great for phone calls and music sounds much better with this than the radio speakers on the bike. And you don't annoy everyone else with your choice of music.
My two cardo units are a complete pain to pair everytime we fire them up. We both have to open up the app and fiddle with it so we can talk. I don't understand why when we turn them on, they don't connect automatically. Anyone?
@@yamahaxs6501 set up a 'group' or whatever it is called. Lots of videos on YT for that. Mine will reconnect themselves if the group spreads out too far and then comes back in range. Edge model.
Made it very hard and dangerous to ride side by side and holler back and forth to hear what each other was saying and watching where you were going at the same time, that technology would have made it a lot safer. I remember someone having one that was helmet to helmet if someone was on the back. And then add the radio to it, I just wonder if you could possibly get in trouble if you got pulled over by and obnoxious officer who was just looking to write a ticket and realized that your phone was attached to it, seeing that in Virginia it is against the law to use your phone while in the operation of a vehicle. You got to worry about everything!
I wonder if it’s like Harley’s first wireless that were Harley specific and wouldn’t work a on Harley ones? And I’m talking the ones for Harley’s Bluetooth wireless headsets. Still haven’t heard much positive from anyone 😎😎😊
That was until I used a superior product. 🤷🏼♂️ I can only speak on ones that I have experience with and at that time I had not had a chance to use a Cardo system
I prefer Cardo. But I gotta tell you. The absolute BS you go through. To connect to another brand headset. Makes me not even use these anymore. The button bashing procedures are BS. These companies should make a seperate. One button press to search for other headsets. Paying 5-$600 for these things. They should be a lot better.
It’s cheaper if you by the duo (2)pack and they offer 20% off for military, first responders, and teachers etc. a few TH-cam folks have coupon codes too.

I've had a Cardo Black since 2021, through rain, hail, 100 degrees, works like the day I purchased it.
I love the Packtalk Edge. I never ride without it. Mine is two years old and still rocking along perrfectly!

I've had my PT Edge for a year now, and it has never let me down. Absolutely my favorite comm unit.
Comms while riding changes the whole experience. Great vid.

Now that’s what I call good customer service! And I agree on the safety factor 💯
The way you kept calling a "Talkpack".... 😵💫😄
I love my Cardo Packtalk Edge. Works great. Love having tunes in my helmet and can take phone calls if need be. Great product.
Agreed. I’ve only used Cardo for my helmet coms and they have never failed me. Definitely a good product.
Cardo is the bomb! Especially since I ride road king. Thanks for the ride through Big Sky MT.
im running the Cardo Neo. works great, love the sound, and being ably to talk to other riders is great.
Thanks Adam for the great review. Our club uses them. I have purchased a set after being the only one without it on our trip to Nova Scotia.

I'm running this on a Scorpion Covert FX helmet.
I endorse this product!
👊🏼😎
I resisted a cardo for many years, but after 5 min with it - I was like - I’ll never ride without one again. I even put one on my dirt helmet
Worth every penny.
HD finally got onboard with Cardo. About damn time.
How’s the speaker quality? I’m mostly concerned for music.
Good stuff
My wife and I enjoy ours entirely. Just wish the battery lasted more than 3 hours.

I’ve had other units where pairing was a pain… but the Cardo is amazing with that

Nice! I have been contemplating…. How about a giveaway? 😂
Technology at its finest, where was that when I was younger?
Tell me about it! 🤣

Not me🤣
last resort 🤣
Good review
Thanks!
Didn’t you used to say the same thing when Sena provided you with comms?
That was until I used a superior product. 🤷🏼♂️ I can only speak on ones that I have experience with and at that time I had not had a chance to use a Cardo system
Yep, don't waste your money. Buy the best one the first time.
I’d much rather buy once 💯
I am looking to get one of these when I get a helmet
I love mine - wouldn’t even consider switching
@@adamsandoval 👊🏻Thanks Adam👊🏻
Louder than the Sena? I have the D&D exhaust and can’t make out people talking through my Sena
Absolutely 💯
You didn't mention battery life.
I’ve ridden 8-10 hour days and didn’t run out.
its branded not made with HD , its the same one as normal just with the logo
I don't use my phone for music - will this pair up with my CVO's music system??
I’m not sure about that
I prefer Cardo.

Battery life?
I ride 8-10 hrs and charge it at night. I’d say it probably would die around 12-14hrs
@@adamsandoval thanks very helpful info!
