- I found the CRAZIEST overgrown lawn in my entire city. It was taller than me in places and you could barely see the front sidewalks. The neighbor told me that the home is vacant and it hasn't been cut this year. So, I needed some help from my friend @ZachKing to magically get it looking better again.

As a Letter Carrier of USPS in Wichita, KS, one of my favorite things to do is identify the house. You do a really good job of making that difficult and I probably am only able to Identify 20%. This one was however my fastest because I recognized the school down the street in the beginning part of the video.
I’ve been all over Wichita and barely recognize any area in these videos
@@AJSMGG My parents and my half sisters used to live in Wichita, but I'm not all that familiar. The Boring Channel, before he went on the road, was based out of Tulsa, where I lived, and I recognized a lot more of the areas he was in than most places.
The whole point is not to know where anything is. Technically he should be blurring out license plates and addresses. The white car on the street someone can easily zoom in clean up the video and get the plate number off of it.
What exactly is someone going to use random license plate numbers for?
@@OfficialDJBrG Plate number is useless to people. DMV keeps that information classified. Only law enforcement, and court can access that information when they need to. So blurring out a plate is just pointless.
Who needs a gym membership when you can go work with SB Mowing? Resistance training, weight lifting, aerobics allllll day. ❤

I can't believe there are so many abandoned houses out there. I wonder how many of them, if any, get bought after Spencer goes in and cleans up the yard. After he cleans the yard, so many times those houses look like they just need someone to love them again. Spencer's community is so lucky to have him!
And this looks like a duplex, could be blessing two homeless families instead of being an abandoned eyesore.
This place recently had a lein placed against it by the city due to unpaid taxes. The city might seize it and put it up for sale in a decade or two
This area was built up quickly in the 1940s to provide "temporary" housing for military and aircraft families during the war. Most of these houses are questionably habitable when they've not been left vacant for the humidity and copper thieves to destroy them
We have a housing shortage and soaring rents. But so many derelict neighborhoods. It's a problem

I would like to if you can do a front yard clean up for free to my nabours her in Florida.
So much trim work! When you uncovered the walkways and cleaned up the area by the back porch, it was extremely satisfying. I live in an apartment now, but I remember all the hard detail work of caring for a large yard like this one. You are such a blessing for neighborhoods and their residents. Great work, Spencer! You've inspired me to volunteer in my neighborhood to help people who need a helping hand to get started taking care of their yards. Very fulfilling volunteer work
Volunteering is a great way to help your community and the side benefit to you is how good you feel about yourself, knowing you are helping others.
That is wonderful that there are still people that will volunteer to help others 😇
I retired and after watching Spencer I started helping my neighbors who still work. They are grateful and I feel wonderful 🙏💞 Thanks for sharing.

Spencer - every week you make it look soooo easy to do. And since I know what it feels like to run 1/2 marathons, my hat’s off to Zach for getting out there and being a trooper. His body was still recovering from the 1/2 marathon but what a great way to recover!

That was a really 'crazy' lawn! It's not that often that you go over the exact same row. And in reverse! (I found that 'reverse' really helps get everything that's been missed - gone!)

A tidy, well-kept yard not only benefits the neighborhood in appearance, but it tends to make potential squatters think twice about the possibility that it’s inhabited. Overgrown shrubs, grass, and weeds tend to hide the presence of trespassers. Yet again, another property improved with Spencer’s (and his guest’s) generous labor.
You guys are the BEST! It's so good to see GOOD PEOPLE DOING GOOD THINGS! What a wonderful break from all the bad things that goes on! THANKS AGAIN!

I have often thought that Spencer must really have a great set of genes, because his wiry frame doesn’t look capable of doing all he accomplishes! Having done my own yard work and shoveling snow for years, I am aware of how hard it is to keep a lawn up! Great job, both of you.
I strength train and honestly you slim down, lose body fat , when you build muscle. Spencer is lean from all that work, but I imagine very strong....

If I was a neighbour, I think I'd be more concerned with the inch of dust and debris all over my property that he just blows into the atmosphere. What goes up, must come down.

I don't even have words for how much better this yard looks. You guys took a meadow and turned it back into a very nice looking yard. Your best transformation so far and I love all your vids! I could tell Zack is not a landscaper; he didn’t edge like you, he didn’t cut like you, he didn’t blow like you, and he was sweating profusely almost immediately. He kept stopping when he was edging and shovelling too. You make it look easy Spencer but for the ordinary Joe it is quite the task! It was nice to see you with a helper, and a fan that wanted to live a day in your shoes. Good job Zack, you gave it your all!!
Fantastic job! And so great that Zach could come and dive right in. On another note, that's disturbing for the neighborhood that a duplex is empty for that long and so unkept. I'd have to do some investigative work to find out what the story is,...and probably find a new, attentive buyer. Seems like a nice neighborhood to have such a derelict property
The city placed a lein against this property for 5 years of unpaid property taxes earlier in the year. The neighborhood is one of the poorer in the city.
It is likely that it is uninhabited because it is uninhabitable. Most of these 1940s "temporary" neighborhoods have problems with foundations, black mold, no lead remediation, and decades of "landlord special" treatment. Plus the damage from copper thieves. It'd probability be better if it was torn down

I loved watching Zach do the job and seeing the difference in how well you do things. Not having to go over things twice, missing spots, etc. Shows that being a pro makes a difference, having the right tools helps, but easy to tell when you see it side-by-side. Not dumping on Zach, seems like a great guy, just props to SB.
