Hello Rupesh, The Visa officer checks if you have strong home ties and good financial’s. Financials can be proved by Loan Sanction Letter and bank statements. While strong home ties can be proved by owing a business here and Sabbatical Leave Letter. So it’s upto you if you want to take it with you or not.
Hello Arnold, It is necessary but not mandatory. If you want to you can mention 2 years of period if you are not planning to work here in USA and 5 years if you want to want to work here gain some experience and make sure you will be re-hired back in india again at a higher position.

I filled my ds 160 form And electronically signed and submitted it but just before the Final 'next confirmation ' they showed a session time out so Again when I retrieved my application , signed in , they directly took me to the confirmation page with that unique barcode. So I didn't really get the chance to click that next-confirmation So shall I consider , since I got my ds160 confirmation they have recieved my all my data in their system ?

Hello Jashwanth, Yes it does if you’re going for reputed universities it gives you boost. But if you are going to red flaged universities your visa will be rejected.

@@mohdyousuf5957 its bit tricky now. You can say i was working in XY company and in order to prepare for my ielts exam i left the job. Since i was a experienced employee in my field the company guaranteed me to hire me back after my masters and hence approved my sabbatical leave. You have to frame it correctly, don’t fumble while answering this question cuz it might raise eyebrows and maintain a small smile while answering and you’re all set.
Hello Saurabh, For booking visa slots i checked the website for every 30 minutes intervals from 8:00pm IST, most of the time you will find slots after 1 am cuz that’s when there is less traffic.

while registring in cgi i mentioned hyderabad and selected pickup if i booked visa appoinments in mumbai and approved should i collect my passport in hyderabad or in the place where my visa is approved
Your visa will come in hyderabad consulate no matter where is your interview. But if you have opted for Premium Delivery and provided them address it will be delivered to your address. But again if your address is not servicable your visa will go back to mumbai.
