There is no rule in how to enjoy drifting. People show their love for the sport in several ways from video games and RC cars, to journalism and videographers. Most RC guys just are not in a position to make the sacrifice for the real thing(family, career, location), but I love how they can still show why they enjoy drifting in other avenues. Anyone who will knock you down for showing your passion for drifting, is not a friend, and most likely jealous of how you are not afraid to show it. KDF

lights absorb really minium quantity of power, if you run with a 9t brushless motor, you will need a 35A ESC so you motor will absord 35A when you use the maximum power of the motor (like from standing starts) with a 4000mah battery you will be able to drive for 20-40 minutes without having to charge them, they have also a lot less "memory effect" than the nicd batterys because usually you put LiPo's in this kind of rc cars :)
Most likely both, HPI has a couple RTR drifters (Sprint 2 Sport Drift and E10), I think Tamiya has one too (TT01-D?). I have an old school Associated TC3 Team that I built for drifting
The tires are made of very hard plastic which makes them slippery. Yeah, these guys are talented. Drifting RC-cars looks easy, but it's really quite challenging and requires a lot of practice.
i am oblivious and curious, is there ever onboard footage, i would imagine most cameras are way to heavy or would upset the balance of the car, but it could look really awesome
and it depends if it was charged properly or not. improper charging and stuff can cause the life of the battery too shorten. you should read about and look into lipo if you havnt already got them :)

SO, while we rc in parking lots, you guys do it hockey rinks, on ice....damn, thats awesome. Another question, why is it when I listen to Slovak radio, all I hear is American songs and not songs from our country? Everyone sold out huh?
These cars are MST and Yokomo rc cars Get the Mst for drifting(they have cheap options) There lowest price for a kit is 210$ and its one of the best drift chassis Also there have a rtr(which i have) for 290$ comes with a brushed motor and everything

HPI and Tamiya both do drift cars! HPI E10 (entry level) and Sprint 2 Drift (slightly less entry level, lol) and the Tamiya TT01D.

driving time depends on several factors, my car drives about 40 minutes on one battery with a capacity of 4000mAh
