the instrumentals are really good. but something i noticed while listening to the instrumentals is that i keep humming/singing Spencer's vocal melodies. i think that speaks for itself...
@@casualpequod6054 I think there is some throwbacks to The Way The News Goes. This one and also in Thanks Nobou they are singing "You're shining and it shows" in the background
Every Periphery album has always had instrumental versions accessible providing a secondary listening experience that has always meant a lot to me as a hardcore fan of the band since P1
Honestly just can't stop listening to this song. Absolutely love listening even without vocals, the guitar riffs sound so damn good to listen to on its own.
Periphery’s evolution as a band is shown through the instrumentals. Instrumentally they have always been downright amazing, and even vocally Spencer has always been good. But the evolving is where the vocals become a defined part of the song as opposed to something that just had to be there for the sake of being “complete” song. As a drummer, I love the instrumentals. But, something feels missing. That couldn’t be said, in my opinion, for their first 2 albums with instrumentals.
the main reason is that spencer (or any vocalist that tried to sing in periphery) wasn't a part of the writing process then. They were always a guitar-centered band, but now, since P3 in my opinion, spencer's had a lot more to say production wise. In fact they show this in the last documentary: spencer moved in with the guys to write the songs
@@elblopex Clear was a tipping point for that I think... but I do agree with you. I think I remember Misha flat out saying instrumental releases wouldn't happen again after P2.
God Spencer really outdid himself with the vocals this album. Periphery have always had god-tier musicianship but all I hear are Spencers melodies and vocals even when they’re absent. Testament to how good the vocals are on this album!
Im probably gonna buy this pack but im curious. Is there raw versions of the stems? or is it all basically just the mixed Rhythm Guitars, Lead Guitars, Etc
@@moezsalam I know where to get the stems. I guess my question is , are these tracks already mixed etc or do they have raw versions of the recordings so I could mix myself
@@CeesoTLKR They are pre-mixed, so if you play them all together they will sound almost exactly like the original mix. Pretty much slap Nolly's mastering chain on it and that's it. Still super useful for mix references as well as understanding the composition going into it.

so good it's unreal, brings it into perspective how incredible Spencer is and how integral he is to the band.
Same
Yeah especially since this song is his best performance on this album (imo anyways).
@@TheAluvisify yeah, equally impressive both for his technique and his emotion on the track.
The music will ALWAYS be better without him on top of it
@@idiot_city5244 🤷♂️ Everyone's entitled to their opinion, no matter how wrong it is.
I LOVE spencer but I also LOVE instrumentals. It just totally depends on my mood.
This whole song is one giant “MRAK WOZ ‘ERE” and I love it
Reminds me a lot of the way the news goes. Signature mark riffs and I love them all

Time for karaoke
Best of luck😂
@@sohamjoshi9353 yeah I'll definitely need it
Tried doing karaoke of this. I am now thoroughly deceased lmao, and I'm a girl!
i have always thought that girls have it easier singing spencer but it has to be ultra hard anyway hah

@@buriedbee8052 My Pleasure! Seeing the instrumentals of their album that literally JUST came out, made my Friday! Thank you so much!
With out Spencer's voice it feels weird
Gee, anyone would think you’ve never listened to an instrumental
What the hell? Am I the only one hearing "It's Only Smiles" from P4?
Timestamp it? It might not just be you.
I never listened to periphery with vocals and i never will
only thing stopping me from liking periphery is their vocalist. he sounds like the typical emo poppy metalcore vocalist. it's just too much for me.
@keepitsecret-dl1pr god i wish youtube had laugh reacts
The instrumental better than the Spencer lyrics for me
His choices and phrasing on this album really don’t do anything for me, gonna be a hard pass on the non-instrumentals
Honestly the first periphery album I think the vocals don’t add anything to the music
I think it’s the other way around, this is the first album that feels weird without vocals.
@@juliobonilla3104 two sides of the same coin innit? the wonders of instrumentals and vox
